Welcome to our beautiful luxury lodge on the St Minver holiday park just outside Rock and Polzeath. Our Lodge, No 8 Trehawks provides spacious accommodation comprising two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a roomy kitchen diner, utility room and large lounge. The Trehawks area comprises 16 Lodges in a lovely setting and our Lodge has woods to the rear and has a wonderful outlook to the front overlooking a lovely pond. The large deck to the front, side and rear provides plenty of room to relax and soak up the rays and maybe have a BBQ. Trehawks has a gated entrance and the lodge has parking for two cars. The St Minver shop, indoor heated swimming pool and the Bar and Restaurant facilities are a short walk away and this means that the peaceful tranquility of the Trehawks area is still convenient for all these facilities. Again a short walk away is the little village of St Minver and the Fourways Pub where you will always get a warm welcome.
St Minver provides entertainment in the evening and there are childrens clubs and entertainment during the school holidays.
However, the main reason for choosing a holiday here is that everything you need is so close. The beaches of Rock, Damar Bay and Polzeath are just two miles and offer lovely sandy beaches and a range of watersports. In Rock you will find the Camel Ski school where you can waterski and have rides on inflatables and close by is Damar bay which is famous for windsurfing and Wingfoiling. Polzeath has one of the best surfing beaches in North Cornwall where you can learn to surf and enjoy the beach in the knowledge that there are lifeguards throughout the whole season.
A mile from the lodge you will find the Point at Polzeath. Here you will find tennis courts , two paddle tennis courts, a golf course, gym and nice bar and restaurant.
Aside from the beaches there are lovely coastal walks and why not catch the ferry over to Padstow where you will find some lovely shops, pubs and restaurants overlooking the traditional fishing harbour, Slightly further afield is Port Isaac, famous for Doc Martin and more recently Fishermans Friends and the worid fanous Eden project is also just 20 miles. We will leave plenty of brochures and information on things to do in the area.
You will find the lodge well equipped and very comfortable, a perfect place to come back to and relax after a busy day. There is plenty of seating and a parasol for the deck area with cushions and loungers and BBQ which you are welcome to use. Have a look at the pictures and let us know if you would like to book or have any questions.
