The town is home to the iconic Old Course, there are 7 course in total to choose from and all open to the public, there is also Himalayas putting. St Andrews town has numerous restaurants, museums, a cinema, Byre Theatre – eat at the North Point Café were it is rumoured Prince William met Kate. The site is on the Fife coastal path, it is possible to walk to Kingsbarns, Crail, Anstruther, St Monans, Pitweem and Elie. Bus services to the East Neuk and Dundee are regular. Family swimming , flumes and inflatables, gym and sauna are available at the East sands Leisure 10 min walk. Tentsmuir Forrest can be seen across the bay with dolphins and porpoises visiting the bay occasionally. St Andrews harbour is bustling with activity and the east sands is popular for water sports or try Blown Away on the West Sands for some instruction/hire. There is plenty of cycling routes and quiet roads to explore for the road bike enthusiasts and loads of off road tracks for Mountain bikes and kids. You wont be disappointed with outdoor activity in and around St Andrews.
