We had a lovely break caravan was clean and fresh . Owner was very helpful. Fast internet to keep my teens happy. Will definitely be staying again ! Damage deposit returned the same day as our holiday ended . can’t recommend enough see you next year x

Avoid this owner! the owner claimed full £100 of refundable deposit for damages we have not done it!!! The stay was fine and accommodation was fine, caravan was clean (apart from dirty oven) but after we left the owner claimed our deposit within 2 hours (we were still within the park on a beach) blaming us for broken blinds, stained sofas and dirty oven and dirty microwave. the owner uploaded pictures in evidence - the picture of sofa with stains and broken blinds - they must have been old pictures from the damages caused by previous guests, the sofa was clean without those stains when we arrived and when we were living. We also found a dirty oven with food remains on a baking tray and we took a photo and sent it to the owner and he admitted that a previous guests were a bit of nightmare. We never used the oven . After we left we found the photos of dirty oven uploaded justifying the deposit claim. the owner stated we left the caravan very dirty and damaged that's why he claimed deposit. We feel like we have been scammed. UK caravans did not support as at all, they supported the owner by realising our deposit to the owner despite we phoned and emailed them regarding this. UK caravans does not protect guests but the owners and also please check their policy on deposits- they would not get involved in any dispute between guest and owner. they say 'refundable deposit' but in fact it is up to an owner whether they decide to give you money back to you or not! Sadly, this is our first and last time with private owners and UKcaravans. It was meant to be a budget short break but became an expensive one I would not have gone for. I am warning you avoid this owner!

Unfortunately sometimes every owner gets a guest that causes damage and is very dirty and doesn’t care about other peoples property . as submitted to uk caravans photos of before and after your stay all date stamped . No real way of disputing that damage was caused by these guest hence the claiming of the damage deposit . This booking actually cost me money cost of new blind upholstery clean etc . I have lots of happy guest just a shame about this stay to any other owners I’d avoid these guests at all cost the have no respect and are blatant liars

I’ve been asked by the owner to leave a review on here I booked via Facebook very easy process owner was very helpful. We had a great stay caravan was beautiful and brilliant for our family of 8 We have stayed with these owners twice now and will be back next year thank you for letting us use your beautiful caravan
