Description

Welcome to The Hive, an 8 birth static in the beautiful Lake District National park.

Located at Haven Lakeland, it boasts its own private water sports activity lake, high rope course, indoor and outdoor pools plus many other activities.

Unlike others, all bedding is provided and made up ready for your arrival. We have 3 bedrooms, and even a pull out double bed for those extra guests.

Hand towels and bath mats for both bathrooms are provided, but don’t forget to bring your own bath towels!

We want to bring The Hive alive, so you may find just 1 or 2 bees dotted around on plates and glasses! We may BEE crazy, but we like to think that it’s attention to detail.

Information booklet and custom made chocolates welcome you at the door. During your stay feel free to keep in touch using the complimentary guest Wi-Fi or make the most of our smart TV to continue your box set binge on Netflix at the end of a long day.

There are plenty of games in the coffee table and the bee storage box to entertain all the family.

We stayed during the 6 weeks holidays, when we arrived there was a total power outage and the owners were very good at keeping us up to date. Unfortunately we found the caravan had not been cleaned to a very high standard and had a very offensive smell so I took pictures and contacted the owner, who very quick to respond, she was quite upset that we found the caravan unclean and said she speak to her cleaner. The smell got worse throughout our stay and I contact them via email many times. We were offered money off a stay next year and when we arrived home had an email to say they had located the smell and it had been sorted but I think this is something that could have been sorted during our stay as it was quite unpleasant.
