Occupancy
A maximum number of 6 guests are permitted to stay overnight in our caravan. If this is exceeded the mainbooker and the whole party will be asked to leave the caravan immediately and your booking cancelled with no refund of your payments received by RB Lakeland Private Caravan Hire.
Security and Noise
If the site security or police are called to the caravan during your stay, for the following reasons, the main booker and the whole party will be asked to leave the caravan immediately and your booking cancelled with no refund of your payments received by RB Lakeland Private Caravan Hire.
Excessive noise
Violence
Damage to the caravan or other areas of the caravan park.
Smoking
Smoking or vaping is not allowed inside, on the decking or on the steps of the caravan. If you are found to have been smoking the main booker and the whole party will be asked to leave the caravan immediately and your booking cancelled with no refund of your payments received by RB Lakeland Private Caravan Hire.
*Your refundable bond will be returned to you if there is no damage to the caravan or its contents, including steps and outside furniture. If damage has occurred your bond will not be returned.
Arrival and departure-
Keys: keys are collected from the key safe, the code and location will be given to you the day before/morning of your arrival,if keys are lost or delayed there will be an extra charge for this.
Entry time: 4pm unless stated otherwise by the owner.
Departure time: to be no later than 10am please. This helps our cleaners to get in and clean the caravan.
Accommodation: The accommodation may only be used by the person listed on the booking form & no one else. The terms & conditions must be signed for by the main person hiring the caravan, who will be responsible for the whole party. With Lakeland being a family park we do not accept booking from stag/hen parties
The accommodation must be left clean and tidy. In the event of any breakages, damages, including the furniture, fittings and inventory or to the accommodation we may hold back your damage bond or part thereof to rectify this. It is important that if you notice any damage on arrival to report it to us immediately.
Cancellation: if you have to cancel your holiday you must let us know in the first instance by email
If you cancel within the 4 weeks and final balance has been paid you will lose 100% of the total holiday cost.
If your holiday has to be cancelled due to COVID lockdown in your area and unable to travel to the holiday destination or the holiday park is closed you will be guaranteed to a full holiday refund or the choice of booking at a later date but prices may vary.
Parking: you may use the space provided at the side of the caravan but it is parked on site at the owners own risk (you). We do not accept liability for loss, damage or theft
Liability and insurance: we DO NOT accept liability for injury, loss or damage suffered by you or any member of your party
The caravan site: the owner of the caravan is not responsible for any of the services and facilities provided by haven, the site owners may vary services and facilities at short notice. We advise you to visit the website for full details and their complaints procedures if you have any problems with anything they offer or fail to provide including, power loss, closure of the entertainment, etc.
Use of equipment: When staying in the caravan you are agreeing to the safe use of all the equipment provided to you. The holiday is a self-catering basis, therefore, you will need to provide your own food and drinks. All utilities (Gas/Electric) are included in the overall cost, on a fair-use basis. In the event of excessive use, such as leaving the heating on all day, without the owner’s consent, you will be charged to cover the additional costs. If you are unsure how to use any of the equipment provided them please contact the owner immediately. The owner of the caravan will not be considered liable for any injuries caused by improper use of any equipment. Any claims of injury must be reported.
Entertainment Passes: The caravan owner is not liable for any entertainment passes and cannot access these on your behalf. To access any of the on-site facilities you are required to purchase a pass directly from haven. Passes can be purchased 12 weeks prior to arrival and activities booked
Liability and Insurance: We DO NOT accept liability for any injury, loss or damage, suffered by you or any member of your party.
