Booking Terms and Conditions
THE HIRER & THEIR PARTY MUST BE OVER THE AGE OF 25 TO BOOK THIS CARAVAN (THIS
1. Bookings: Upon receipt of your enquiry, the caravan can be provisionally booked. This will be held for a period of 24 hours only, by which time a booking form must be completed and deposit paid. If no booking form and deposit is received within this period, then the provisional booking will be cancelled. We reserve the right to cancel the booking and re-advertise the caravan.
2. Deposit & payment: There is a £50.00 deposit/damage deposit required payable within 24 hrs to secure your booking. The balance of your stay is to be paid no later than 28 days before your holiday is due to start. The £50.00 deposit will be refunded to you within 7 working days once you have departed, and the holiday home is checked over, and there are no damages found. If there are unfortunately damages found, this have an will affect your deposit.
3. Non-payment: If no contact or payment is received by the due dates stated above, the booking will be cancelled with no refunds and the dates will be re-advertised. Please refer to our cancellation policy for further details.
4. Holiday duration: The caravan will be available to the hirer during the period shown on the confirmation letter from the owners.
5. Maximum capacity: The caravan sleeps a maximum of 8 people and at no time must this be exceeded. Only occupants registered are allowed to occupy the caravan, if anyone is found you will be asked to leave forfeiting the rest of your holiday with no refund of monies.
6. Access to Caravan: If a complaint is received, the Caravan Owners or their representatives shall be allowed access to the holiday home at any reasonable time during any holiday occupancy.
7. Parties allowed: The caravan is only available for hire by families and responsible couples. Combe Haven cannot accommodate all male or all female parties.
8. Pets: Unfortunately, this is a NO PET CARAVAN due to allergies. Any breach of this will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave the caravan immediately - with no refund. Your deposit will be used for a professional deep clean.
9. Smoking: Strictly NO SMOKING inside caravan. However, smoking is permitted on the patio. Please ensure you clean up afterwards and use ashtrays provided. Please do not store the ash tray inside the caravan once used – please leave it under the caravan. Your deposit will be used for a professional deep clean if this is breached.
10. Cleanliness: The area surrounding your hire caravan must be kept clean and tidy at all times. 11. Speeding: Park speed limits must not be exceeded.
12. Behaviour: Combe Haven is a family holiday park and anyone whose unreasonable conduct causes a nuisance to any other persons will be asked to leave, forfeiting the rest of the holiday - no refund.
13. Noise: Please keep noise to a minimum and show consideration to other caravan owners and occupiers at all times. 14. Litter: Litter and refuse must be disposed of in the designated areas provided by the park.
15. Footwear: Please remove all footwear on entering the caravan. Any severe marks to upholstery or carpets will effect your returned deposit. If we find the caravan carpets in such a state, your deposit will be used for a professional deep clean.
16. Smoke detectors & alarms: Do not disarm smoke alarms - not only does this put you at risk, it will also have a detrimental effect on any insurances.
17. Electrical and domestic goods: All electrical and domestic goods and heaters MUST be switched off upon leaving the caravan - even if only for a short while.
18. Breakages: Any items lost, damaged, broken or even stolen will be replaced via your deposit.
19. Pillows, Duvets & Bedding: All pillows and duvets are anti-allergy. If you wish for us to provide bedding, there will be an additional charge of £25.00 and ONE set per bed will be provided.
20. Dirty bedding: Please ensure all beds are stripped (even ones that are not used) and dirty bedding to be placed inside of pillowcase and left on each bed.
21. Holiday park rules: Park rules apply at all times.
22. Personal injury: Combe Haven and ourselves will not be responsible for any personal loss or injury, however caused or sustained to any person or vehicle (including any persons under age 18 years of age).
23. Booking refusal: The caravan owners reserve the right to refuse any booking without any obligation to give a reason.
24. Electrical appliances: All electrical appliances in the caravan have undergone annual safety checks. Use of your own electrical items is at your own risk.
25. Deep clean: The caravan is to be left in a clean and tidy condition. If we find ourselves in a situation where a deep clean is required, this will be taken from your deposit.
26. On park activities: All activities are bookable upto 6 weeks prior to your arrival. You are free to book these in reception on arrival
27. Entertainment passes: Play Passes can now be purchased online via the new online system. A link will be sent to you once your balance has been paid in full and your stay has been registered via the owners portal.
28. Checking in and out: The Caravan must be vacated by 10.00 am on the day of departure and please time your arrival to be not before 2pm
29. Excessive usage of water gas and electricity: any excessive use of water, gas and electric will be charged and taken out of your deposit.
30. Swimming and paddling pools: please note that at no circumstances should you use water from the caravan to fill up any type of paddling or swimming pool.
31. Use of drugs: Please note that we hold a no drug policy and if you are found to be using drugs within our caravan, on the patio or on or in any Combe Haven facilities, you will be asked to leave with an immediate effect. You will forfeit the remainder of your holiday, nor will you receive a refund.
32. Loss of keys: If you are in a situation where you have lost the caravan keys, you will forfeit your full deposit and incur any additional charges as the locks will need to be changed.
33. Cancellation: Please see our separate cancellation policy document.
34. Heated Towel Rail: at any time, our heated towel rail in the bathroom MUST NOT be used to dry wet clothing. It is for towels ONLY.
35. Swimwear: Please note that wet swimwear MUST be dried on the pink airer provided. We recommend you bringing 2 sets of swimwear to enable you to swim daily and not have the worry of it not drying, Chlorine draws out colour and must be placed on the pink airer outside of the caravan on the patio only.
36. BBQ: When using the BBQ, please ensure you pull it away from the caravan and decking and light it at the end of the grass AWAY from the caravan and dekcing. The caravan door must be closed at all times when the BBQ is lit to avoid the smell entering. PLEASE DO NOT LIGHT THE BBQ ON THE DECKING. If the BBQ is not cleaned to a good standard, this will be deducted from your deposit.
37. Charging Electric Vehicles: Please note you are NOT permitted to charge your EV via our caravan. This is against the park rules and is strictly not allowed. There are electric charging points at the top of the park – please see on park security for assistance.
38. Decking: Please ensue you keep the decking clean and tidy. Please ensure you keep the gate closed at all times even when departing the caravan to ensure the gate does not swing and whack against the side of the decking or caravan causing any damage.
