About the owner

We are sure that you will love exploring & relaxing in this unspoilt area of North Cumbria. on the western edge of Hadrians Wall. I have a 2nd caravan on site and spend most weeks on Glendale so I can provide any local knowledge you might need. Description

The park has a fully refurbished restaurant & bar with relaxing outdoor seating for al-fresco dining with entertainment most weekends & is benefitting from significant investment.

A lovely play park with new toddler play area, private swim spa which you book the day before for 1 hr (FOC), crazy golf, sauna, gym, tennis court & mini shop is on site. (extra small charges may apply).

This area of Cumbria is quiet & tranquil. & has some fantastic coastal walks. Glasson Moss is a splendour of beauty in summer. The Solway Wetlands Centre & RSPB Campfield Marsh Nature Reserve is only a few miles to the West.

The pace of life can be slowed right down if you want to recharge your batteries & if you want a more livelier pace, the city of Carlisle is 12 miles away. A number of country pubs are close by in Bowness on Solway (2mls), Brough by Sands (4 mls), Monkhill (6 mls) & Kirkbride (5 mls).

This really is an unspoilt area of North Cumbria with thousands of walkers & cyclists starting or ending their Hadrians Wall challenge in Bowness on Solway (2mls West)

If you require a shorter or longer period of stay that is not on the booking schedule, we will accommodate you or if you require transport to Bowness to start your walk, from staying at Glendale we would be happy to help free of charge.

Caravan was utterly spotless, refreshments left in the van by brilliant hosts for adults and the kids, free use of the bikes which we really enjoyed around the local area which was brilliant for walks etc. Great relaxing holiday just what was needed.

Beautiful caravan in a nice quiet area. We had access to everything we needed including towels, bedding, Wi-Fi, games and the owner provided complimentary snacks and drinks for both adults and children. There was a useful booklet providing information about the holiday park, local restaurants and activities to do in the area. The owner was attentive and checked in with us to ensure we were happy with our stay. We will definitely return, Thankyou ??

The best caravan break we have ever had! Belinda the owner went above and beyond and nothing was to much trouble, facilities provided were amazing and even complimentary milk, juice etc in the fridge, (lovely surprise after a long drive and needing a cup of tea lol) We cannot wait to return ????

When we arrived at the caravan it was immaculate. The owners have looked after this caravan. The little extras made us important. With the added WiFi, netflix and towels they definitely provided will be staying again in the future.
