The Space
Our van, Gannet's Rest, is a 2019 Rio Gold and we use it regularly as our sunshine get-away from Dartmoor! We are never far away if you need any guidance, assistance or travel advice.

Gannet's Rest is a 37ft x 12ft Rio Gold situated 2 miles from Polperro and 4 miles from Looe, both easily accessible by bus which stops immediately outside the holiday park.

The open plan lounge and dining room comfortably accommodates five people.

The van has two large bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed, one large wardrobe, dressing table and en suite. The second bedroom has two single beds and wardrobe. There is also a family bathroom with spacious shower, toilet, basin and heated towel rail. The sofa bed can be utilised for two small children or one teenager/adult.

From the south-facing veranda (being installed early June 2023!), you can enjoy outdoor seating for up to 6 people, a BBQ or the spectacular sun rise with an early morning cup of coffee. We provide a smart TV, Wii console and a selection of Wii games, blue ray DVD, collection of DVDs, free and unlimited WIFI / internet,, smart speaker, and fully kitted out kitchen. All bed linen, towels and beach towels are also provided along with all necessary daily guest supplies.

We are a dog-friendly van and accept a maximum of two dogs. Each dog incurs a fee of £25 which is payable at the time of booking. The site requests that all dogs are kept on leads, other than in the designated dog exercising field which is a 30 second walk from the van. The nearby beaches at Talland Bay and Lantic Bay are also dog-friendly.

The Area
Although the smugglers and the pilchards have both long gone, the quaint historic villages of Looe and Polperro are steeped in history and you can take a boat trip for sightseeing or angling including shark fishing from either. You will find a comprehensive information file on arrival, giving detailed guidance on all the best beaches, dog walks, restaurants or wet-weather trips, ensuring you won't be short of things to see and do during your stay.
