Description

Bear Lodge, our new 2023 caravan in a peaceful area of the park a short 10 minute walk to the site amenities.

2 bedroom 39x12ft dog friendly caravan on a fully fenced large plot at Kelling Heath holiday park.

Lounge with TV and DVD player (lots of DVD’s available), 2 sofas and an electric fire (perfect for cosy winter nights).

Double sliding doors leading to enclosed decking area with garden furniture with seating for 4.

Fully fenced wrap around garden surrounding the caravan, with dappled sunlight through the trees throughout the day.

Parking for 2 cars.

Lots of woodland walks, throughout the 300 acre site - including scenic trails with sea views.

45 minute walk to the beach, or a 10min drive alternatively take the steam train which runs between Holt and Sheringham stopping at Kelling Heath on the way with a dedicated station on site.

Check in days: Monday (minimum 4 nights), Friday (3 or 7 nights) and Saturday (7 nights).

Discount available for stays of 8 nights or more, please enquire before booking.

Restaurant, which is dog friendly is open most nights. (Currently closed Monday to Wednesday)
On-site café providing tea/coffee/ cakes during day, and offers takeaway pizza in evening during peak periods.
Street food vans available most weekends and during weekdays during peak periods (eg summer holidays).
Check out Kelling Heath website for menus and schedules (available a week of 2 in advance).

Regular kid’s entertainment, evening performances (singers, bands, various acts etc), schedule available online or on screens dotted around centre of park.

Laundrette on site (chargeable).

This was our first family holiday with our first son and we had a fantastic time we mainly booked this because of it having a bath so we were able to bath our son but we really enjoyed staying here lovely place to stay and will definitely be booking to come back

Lovely caravan. Nice spacious bedroom,well designed. In very quiet area. Very private and although school holidays was very peaceful. Lovely garden area great for our dog. Nice streak of sunshine coming through the trees. I will certainly come back. Such a calming and peaceful place to visit. Owners were very helpful.

Had a wonderful 4 nights in Bear Lodge with our grandchildren. The caravan was spotless and beds very comfortable. Good choice of DVD’s to watch with kids and not a problem with no wi-fi as good for them to get out in nature and have fun. Enjoyed steam train and pool. Lovely caravan on a great holiday park.

Spent a great 4 nights/ 5 days at Bear Lodge - the accommodation was first class and catered to all our needs. Great selection of DVD's for the kids (very useful as wifi and mobile reception very limited - OK in The Village). The Welcome Pack was, well, very welcome! Incredibly clean caravan and our twin four-year-old grandsons loved their bedroom. Our double bed was very comfortable, kitchen well-equipped and the location was very peaceful. Communication with Daniel and Becca very clear and helpful. The Kelling Heath site itself was also brilliant - we will be making a return trip!

Spent a long weekend at this lovely accommodation. On arrival the owners had left a quality welcome pack including bread, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, cookies and treats for the dog. Everything was nice and clean and comfortable, especially the beds!. Couldn’t fault the place. Would definitely stay again.
