Welcome to Trecco Bay Caravan and Lodge Hire. We are a letting management service providing guests with a selection of privately owned caravans at Trecco Bay Holiday Park in Porthcawl. Our business has been designed by owners, offering a complete understanding of guest needs and providing a professional service on a personal level. Trecco Bay Holiday Park is open from 1st March to the beginning of January annually, closing only for 6-8 weeks during January and February.

This must have been the worse holiday from start to finish. I forgot my preventor so asked where post office was so grandson can post it, no post office anywhere except bridgend which was miles away. No drs or nurses near or on site.Beds hard as nails so had to sleep on corner unit fir the whole time. We both had food poisoning first night there from fish and chippy shop. As unable to walk far had to right time getting over rocks to beach. Nothing there unless you have small children or drink, which we do not do ir have either. At end of awful time was informed by staff keys had to be put in tubs on counters not in hole in wall, so she took keys off me and dropped in tub. Was informed later that I lost my deposit due to lost keys. Bit odd that in my opinion. Would advise to stay from this place at all costs

Reply: This review is certainly not a fair representation. I must note that a lot of your issues are directed towards Parkdean Resorts and/or Trecco Bay Holiday Park and not to us (private owners). As for your keys, as per our check out procedure you are to put the keys back in the key box NOT in reception. You have not rented a caravan directly with Parkdean Resort, you have booked a PRIVATE stay. I must also add that you left a lot of belongings at the end of your stay.

We have just returned from a 7 day stay in this lovely caravan, a few minutes walk from the main facilities but far enough away that the noise doesn't get too much. The caravan was clean, had some extras we weren't expecting (air cooler fan). Had everything you need for a comfortable stay, the only thing missing for me was an airer of some kind, but nothing a fishing line from the gift shop didn't solve! The man who manages the caravan was really responsive and helpful. We loved the site and we will be back.

Perfect caravan for a couple or family of 4. The caravan was perfect for the two of us and the dog. Perfectly clean and tidy. All cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery provided so we made a range of meals during our stay. The beds were extremely comfortable and the master bedroom has lots of space to put luggage etc. One of the best showers I’ve had in a caravan too. Porch area was perfect and ideal to be able to leave the door open and allow the dog to chill on the decking. Owner Shane was easily contactable with any questions or queries we had before our stay and messaged us on the day to provide the key code and wish us a pleasant stay. The park itself was great with good facilities and Newton beach being about a 5 minute walk from the caravan and it is dog friendly all year round so great dogs and families. All in all a perfect little stay for our yearly caravan holiday. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return. Cheers Shane.

Caravan was lovely and comfortable with everything I needed for cooking and relaxing. Very close to the beach. Stress free no problems. Would highly recommend.
