You will be booking and dealing directly with the owners of the Beach House, Kate and Lou who absolutely love holidaying at there Cornish holiday home with there dogs and daughter too!
We love to rent out our gorgeous holiday home to like minded families that enjoy a luxury and cosy holiday home to stay in that is literally home from home, well behaved dogs and children friendly!
We believe that the glass wrap around decking and the location of our beach house is like no other here at Par Sands, you can sit out on the decking and watch the sun rise or the sunset over the wildlife lake through the uninterrupted glass surround decking area. The dogs are safe and secure as the gate is easily locked and secured and they can potter around perfectly whilst watching the rabbits and people walking on by, feeding the ducks and birds at the famous and award winning wildlife lake. You can literally walk to the all year round dog friendly sandy beach from the decking in just 72 footsteps! It takes just 2 mins - perfect to carry your picnic basket over to as well as your beach bag!
The Beach House offers you everything and more that you would expect from the perfect holiday home including; All of the basics listed, plus extras including; WI FI, 2 x Smart TV's, DVD Player, Electric cosy fireplace, Free Sat Box, Rattan decking seating, sofa bed in the lounge, slow cooker, double oven with 5 hobs and extractor fan, cordless vacuum cleaner, Bath, walk in shower, Electric Airblade Fan, large luxury pantry cupboard to store all those holiday treats, Picnic basket, Walk in wardrobe with lots of storage, heated towel rails in both the bathrooms, dressing table, King size bed, proper size single beds x2 in the second twin bedroom with wardrobes and lots of storage space. Hosepipe (for washing any sandy paws, feet and beach equipment), as well as 2 x sunbeds for the decking area available on request and much more! You will also have private parking right next to the Beach House to ensure you can unload and reload your car easily.

Location: The park is open all year round and is fantastically located just 200 metres from the lovely sandy beach of Par which has great views of St Austell Bay. The beach is dog friendly all year round and is fantastic for dogs. The Par Train Station is also within walking distance and offers great commuting options to many UK train stations as well as to other major Cornish Towns including Newquay – this is a great day trip!
Park Facilities: On site facilities include; A lovely indoor swimming pool (free to use), 2 x all-weather tennis courts, basketball court, pitch and put golf area (nominal local charge), Kids park and a new play area with climbing area. There is also a lovely café / restaurant at Par Sands, serving lovely food and fabulous cocktails. There is also a launderette on site if you wish to dry anything quickly. (There is a washing machine in the holiday home if you wish to use this too).
Additional Benefits of the park: Our Beach House Caravan overlooks the Freshwater Lake which boasts the David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award – fantastic for Bird watchers!
Park Location: The park is in a fantastic location for you to explore Cornwall. With so many activities and places to visit within such an easy reach, this is a fantastic base for a relaxing holiday or for exploring Southern Cornwall. There are many world-famous landmarks as well as historic and picturesque villages within just a few miles, these include:
The famous Eden Project – just 3 miles from the park.
The famous Lost Gardens of Heligan – 6.8 miles from the park.
National Trust Property – The Lanhydrock Estate (Nr Bodmin) – 6.7 miles from the park.
Charlestown Harbour Town – 3 miles from the park (For the best Fish n’ Chips) and famously known for the Television series Poldark.
Fowey (bustling harbour town) – 2.8 miles from the park.
Carlyon Bay Beach - 1.7 miles away - Fabulous beach with pop up beach bars and street food as well as many watersports!
St Austell – 6 miles from the park. (Great for retail parks / Supermarkets and shopping & Fast Food Take Aways!)
Polkerris (Beach & Fishing Cove) – 1.7 miles – You have to book a table at Sam’s On the Beach restaurant! You can also walk here to from the site across the headland.
Mevagissey Fishing Village – 11 miles from the park.
Looe – 25 miles from the park.
Polperro – 22 miles from the park.
We have a basket full of leaflets of recommendations for days out, trips and restaurants and menus etc - you will not be short of options to do as much or as little as you wish too!
Walks from the park: Walkers can also enjoy exploring the Cornish coastal footpaths. Heading left from the park, a short 30 mins walk will bring you to the very pretty fishing cove and sandy beach of Polkerris. If you walk a little further past Polkerris, you will discover the beautiful harbour town of Fowey (Famous for Dawn French and Gordon Ramsay – keep a look out!). If you head right from the park you will come across the prestigious Carylon Bay (famous for it’s impressive Hotel, Spa and Golf course!) with stunning views of the shoreline. Follow this path west and it will bring you to the stunning and famous village of Charlestown. The Shipwreck & rescue heritage centre is a lovely place to visit anytime of the year. It’s also a fantastic village to grab some amazing fish n chips and watch the boats and world go by. Very busy in Summer months. The Rashleigh Arms is a must for a Sunday roast too - but don't forget to book in advance!
The Beach House itself: Our Beach House (caravan) is the crème de la crème of caravans it really is. We are sure you will love it as much as we do. Our new ABI Beaumont 2020 model has everything you could possibly need and more to ensure that you have all you need for a home from home holiday experience.
It offers plenty of space, we would recommend ideally for up to 4 people (poss. 6 if you have little people too).
It is 41-foot-long and 14-foot-wide so larger than most caravans.
It has a large living / dining and kitchen area with all modern mod cons including; a 40-inch TV, DVD player, Free Sat box and WI-FI all set up. The kitchen area offers a full-size dishwasher, large fridge freezer, massive pantry to store all of your shopping in, as well as a new washing machine. The holiday home offers 2 bedrooms including, a twin bedroom with full size twin beds and a wardrobe in and another master bedroom complete with a king size bed and dressing area. There is also a walk-in wardrobe and dressing room area and ensuite bathroom complete with toilet, sink, bath and a fantastic power shower. There is also a main family bathroom with separate toilet, sink and walk in shower. Lots of quality space for everyone.
We also believe that we have the best plot on the Par Sands site, overlooking the Wildlife lake, no caravans are in front of our Beach House, holiday home which makes it lovely and private and there is a beautiful wild garden in front of the beach house where you can watch many rabbits running round in the morning and late at night. So peaceful. The holiday home also has a fantastic wraparound sun decking area to it which is absolutely heaven for any sun worshipper. When the sun is out there really is no better place to be, grab yourself a good book, a cocktail or a cuppa and listen to the birds tweeting to everyone that walks past to feed them and just relax. It’s a real sun trap to watch the sun rise and sunset. We absolutely love it and are sure you will do too! It's definitely a place to make lots of special memories!
