Additional Info: Home 178 has the added bonus of being wheelchair accessible but only for somebody who has some ability to walk. It has ramped access, a wet-room with a slight threshold, rails around the toilet and pull down shower chair. It is fully wheelchair accessible inside with widened corridors. However it must be noted that the siting of the Home is not accessible for wheelchairs to move around within the park due to the steep slopes. Wheelchair users would need to use a car to access the Home. Please get in touch with us for further information. The Home lends itself well to young families with pushchairs due to the ramped access and large veranda.

Owner Description

Home 178 is sited on the Swanage Bay View Holiday Park and is located in a cul-de-sac. It was new in 2015 and is fully equipped with everything you will need for your holiday with the added bonus of spectacular views of Swanage bay and the Purbeck Hills which you can enjoy from the large veranda.

The accommodation is open plan with a lounge, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. There are two twin bedrooms (although twin beds can be pushed together to make doubles if required) and a large wet-room/shower with toilet. There is also a sofabed that can be pulled out for use in the lounge.

It has an allocated parking space next to the home and there are further parking spaces in a free car park next to the reception.

Swanage Bay View Holiday Park has plenty for families and children including an indoor heated pool and kids' clubs. There is a restaurant and bar on site and free evening entertainment. It is also a relaxing retreat for couples who are looking to get away from it all. It is a beautiful location with stunning views for those who wish to just spend time around the Home.

Please bring your own duvet covers, sheets, pillow cases, towels, tea towels and dishcloths. We provide duvets, pillows and cleaning equipment.

Well behaved dogs are welcome but please do not let them sleep on beds or furniture and please do not leave them alone in the home when you go out. This home is well located for taking your dog for a walk across the local nature reserve and beyond.

Swanage is the ideal holiday destination with its award winning beaches, cliff walks and peace and tranquillity.

We spent a week staying at this fabulous holiday home with my partner and elderly mother. The home has everything you could possibly want, spacious and very well equipped. My mother has mobility & health problems and she found the facilities perfect for her needs. Wonderful views from the veranda. It is defiantly one of the best holiday homes we have stayed in. Hannah was so helpful with everything we needed prior to and during our stay, nothing was too much trouble. A big thank you for a lovely week away. We will defiantly be booking again.

Me and my mum have been staying in Swanage many years now, and we have to say this van was one of the best! Amazing views, perfect van if you have dogs, as we were able to let Winnie out securely on the decking with secure gates. Fab facilities and really friendly owners. My wife and I have been regular visitors to this site for a number of years and find it a beautiful location close to Swanage beach and town centre with lovely places to visit a short drive away. We found the caravan very spacious well equipped and with a wonderful view of sea and surrounding hillside from the spacious decking. Owners Hannah and Sally were very accommodating and provided all information required prior to and after booking, thoroughly enjoyed our stay and looking forward to the next.

What a marvellous clean and spacious mobile home. The views to the hills and Swanage Bay are lovely. Perfect to sit on the enclosed patio and watch the sun go down! There's everything you need in the home. The nature reserve is just to left of the home which is so convenient to walk your dog and to enjoy even more views of the area. We had a wonderful stay and will be back next year.

We've booked static caravans a few times recently, and this was the cleanest, most spacious, and with the best view yet! The veranda is a great feature - you can watch the ships come and go as the sun sets over your other shoulder. The site perfectly balances a good offering of facilities without feeling like butlins. The knives in the kitchen are extremely sharp compared with mine at home - slicing veg for dinner was a doddle. The owner, Sally, was extremely friendly, helpful and professional, which contributed to a hassle-free and marvellous booking and holiday experience.

My family and I have just come back from a lovely holiday at Home 178 in Swanage Bay View Holiday Park. We were there for Carnival week and there was so much going on in Swanage. The home was perfect for our needs. Very cosy and was in immpecible condition. The children loved the toys, books and DVDs that were available for them to use. My wife and I enjoyed the evenings sitting out on the veranda with the fantastic views surrounding us. Sally was always on hand to answer our questions before and gave us lots of information about where to go and what to see, all much appreciated. Thank you for a fantastic holiday, we would love to come back next year.
