Owner Description

South Bay Holiday Park has everything you will need for a truly enjoyable holiday. Fantastic sea views from the park with lovely scenic cliff top walks (very safe). A 15 minute walk to St Marys Bay, the nearest beach, via a country path and steep steps. Other beaches with accessibility and all facilities are close by.

The park has a Main Reception, heated Indoor/outdoor pool, shop, clubhouse and bar, kids 'Foxy' club, playground, crazy golf and launderette.

This caravan for hire is located at South Bay Holiday Park, Brixham, in Devon and is close to all the Park facilities including the heated pool, shop and clubhouse. The caravan is a 'Silver' caravan, the most popular grade on the Park, and has all modern amenities including a flat screen free-view TV and DVD player.

A full kitchen is available with a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle as well as a full size cooker, but don't forget to give the local cafés and restaurants a try!

With 3 bedrooms and a bed setee in the lounge this modern caravan will sleep up to 8 people.

Heating for those cooler nights is provided by a gas fire in the lounge and electric panel heaters through the rest of the caravan.

Gas, electricity, bed linen and entertainment passes are included in the hire cost.


South Bay Holiday Park is surrounded by many interesting and varied places with lots to do. St Marys Bay is the closest beach and can be accessed by a walk of about 15 minutes although you will need to go down (and up again!) some 100 or so steps. St Marys Bay is a lovely unspoilt beach and well worth a visit but if you require modern facilities and beach amenities you should try Broadsands or Goodrington Beaches which are a short drive from South Bay Holiday Park where the family will love the many things to do.

Brixham is a fishing harbour which is very picturesque and has lots of cafes, restaurants and various craft shops. It is a favourite place to go crabbing for the kids and mum and dad as well!, or try Paignton with it's lovely beaches and home to the steam train trips which take you to the lovely port of Dartmouth with some spectacular scenery on the way. Or drive to Dartmoor and visit the famous prison or picnic on the moors.

Torquay is at the other end of the bay and can be accessed either by Ferry from Brixham (£1.50 each way!) or by car or bus. You can visit with the penguins or shop till you drop!

This caravan for hire is the place to base yourself whether you want a quiet or active holiday as there is so much variety in Devon.

I booked this caravan for an easter holiday for 7 nights, John Ford (Owner) was very helpful and genuine. This particular caravan has one of the most amazing views I have seen, concidering we live in the city this was an added bonus as with young children, we spent the evenings back at the caravan which I might add was spacious, cosy, clean and felt like home from home. The location is great for days out in neighbouring costal towns like Torbay, Torquay, and Paignton. The holiday has to be our best caravan experience to date and has given us endless memories which we will cherish. We will definitely be returning as this was excellent value for money.
