Here's our beautiful, home away from home, Willerby Skye 6 berth for hire (Minimum 7 nights - Saturday to Saturday, weekly lets) from May - October 2023.
Our platinum graded static home is located on the Widemouth Bay John Fowler holiday site in North Cornwall, It's a little bolt hole away from the busy, to relax, unwind, have fun, rejuvenate and recharge.
Our new van is perfectly situated the top of the park with a parking area just behind.
Beautiful sea and countryside views can be seen from the windows inside (including double fronted patio doors) or outside on the full length deck.
The Widemouth Bay cliffs have some spectacular sunsets during the year.
It's is a two bedroom - one double (ensuite) and one twin, accommodating up to 4 people very comfortably (6 with the double pull out sofa in the lounge)
Double glazed and central heated throughout.
We have a fully equipped kitchen (just like home) a shower/wash room, a great sized dining and lounge area including a 42inch UHD TV and DVD player (with a few family-friendly DVDs and board games for those afternoons or evenings when you just want a quiet night in)
There is also a full length gated veranda down the side and across the front of the van with a small table and chairs/bench area.
The long sandy beaches of Widemouth Bay and Black Rock beach are about a 20 min walk along the scenic route from the holiday park across the fields and cliffs. At Widemouth Bay you can learn to surf as well as bask in the sunshine, or you could go rock pooling at Black Rock beach, where you'll find mussels, winkles, shrimp and all sorts of weird and wonderful sea anemones (great exploration for kids).
The seaside resort of Bude is just 10 minutes away by car or a good hike along the scenic route. Hire a beach hut for the day, try your hand at surfing the famous North Cornwall waves or simply enjoy being king of your very own sandcastle for the day! You will find local supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, a bowling alley and the famous Sea Pool.
Within a short drive away you can reach the unspoilt Cornish and Devon countryside, old market towns, picturesque villages, old world Inns, ancient churches, charming little coves, and a choice of lovely beaches. A drive across Bodmin will take you to the best Cornish shopping experience you could imagine, Trago Mills - a shopping experience and a day out all in one. Don't forget to look out for the Beast of Bodmin Moor and the Bodmin wild ponies that roam free. On route, also make a stop at the Jamaica Inn, a historic coaching house made famous by Daphne Du Maurier's tales of smugglers, rogues and pirates.
A little further takes you to Tintagel, a place of mystery and romance with memories of King Arthur, the Round Table and Merlin. You could also Discover the timeless village of Clovelly, where the steep, cobbled street tumbles down past gleaming white cottages to the tiny, deep-blue harbour. Boscastle, Bideford and Barnstaple are not far away too.
Golf, riding, tennis, fishing, boat trips, farm parks, fun theme parks, wildlife parks, craft centres and tourist attractions of many kinds such the Eden Project (which is well worth a visit) are all nearby.
