Here's our lovely static BK Contessa caravan for hire (Sunday to Sunday weekly lets) from March - October 2018. Located on the Widemouth Bay John Fowler holiday site in north Cornwall. It's perfectly situated in a quieter area of the park but close to amenities. It's is an eight-berth van with three bedrooms - one double and two twins - accommodating up to six people very comfortably and a pull out double sofa bed in the lounge. We have a fully equipped kitchen (just like home) a shower room and separate toilet, a nice sized dining and lounge area including a few family-friendly DVDs and board games for those afternoons or evenings when you just want a quiet night in. There is also a full length gated veranda on the side of the van with a wide table and chair area at one end.

The sun rises to the front left of the van and sets to the front right so you can gather the rays on a sunny day. There is also a babbling brook that runs behind the van between the park and the farming fields a perfect place to relax and read a book.

The long sandy beaches of Widemouth Bay and Black Rock beach are about a 20 min walk along the scenic route from the holiday park across the fields and cliffs. At Widemouth Bay you can learn to surf as well as bask in the sunshine, or you could go rock pooling at Black Rock beach, where you'll find mussels, winkles, shrimp and all sorts of weird and wonderful sea anemones (great exploration for kids).

The seaside resort of Bude is just 10 minutes away by car or a good hike along the scenic route. Hire a beach hut for the day, try your hand at surfing the famous North Cornwall waves or simply enjoy being king of your very own sandcastle for the day! You will find local supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, a bowling alley and the famous Sea Pool.

Within a short drive away you can reach the unspoilt Cornish and Devon countryside, old market towns, picturesque villages, old world Inns, ancient churches, charming little coves, and a choice of lovely beaches. A drive across Bodmin will take you to the best Cornish shopping experience you could imagine, Trago Mills - a shopping experience and a day out all in one. Don't forget to look out for the Beast of Bodmin Moor and the Bodmin wild ponies that roam free. On route, also make a stop at the Jamaica Inn, a historic coaching house made famous by Daphne Du Maurier's tales of smugglers, rogues and pirates (BBC drama 'Jamaica Inn' was broadcast in Easter 2014).

A little further takes you to Tintagel, a place of mystery and romance with memories of King Arthur, the Round Table and Merlin. You could also Discover the timeless village of Clovelly, where the steep, cobbled street tumbles down past gleaming white cottages to the tiny, deep-blue harbour. Boscastle, Bideford and Barnstaple are not far away too.

Golf, riding, tennis, fishing, boat trips, farm parks, fun theme parks, wildlife parks, craft centres and tourist attractions of many kinds such the Eden Project (which is well worth a visit) are all nearby.

Have a great holiday in the UK this year and come to Widemouth Bay, I bet you'll be visiting Cronwall again and again and again…

NB: where this site mentions no same sex groups, it means no groups (of three or more) men only or women only, for example - stag/hen parties, birthday parties - as per the rules of the holiday site on which the static home is situated. Neither we or the holiday park discriminate against same sex couples or same sex couples and their children.

All gas, electric, bed linen and passes to the site facilities are included in the price.
