Second stay for us , some of the feedback on here is massively exaggerated . The brick wall with barbed wire is across the road & belongs to another holiday camp & is NOT the responsibility of the owner of this caravan . The caravan isn’t 5 star but their NOT charging 5 start prices! Facilities at The caravan are more than adequate for a 4 day stay in our opinion . The area is quiet & secure, & the people in the caravans are / where very nice & pleasant. The caravan is close enough to walk to all amenities but not that close to be intrusive. The bedroom door opens as it should when the mattress was placed back on the frame. Can’t comment on the sky tv, as we don’t go on holiday to watch tv! Cooker works fine for us, hot water too shower was good. Lose seat on toilet & tap just needed tightening up.. didn’t notice a stench... The owner has always been quick to reply to any questions & has always been helpful & accommodating. We would definitely holiday here again.

Thank you it's lovely when guess have had a lovely stay. You are always welcome to stay again

Had to move my mother and pay large amount of money for another caravan because of the smell couldn't get my money back only stayed 3/ nights the owner would not give me my money back so we lost around 400pound because she wasn't bothered that her customer just wasn't happy with the stench and the fact we couldn't get a shower or cook anything or use the toaster because of how black it was the caravan is old and dated everything was it looks much nicer and homey on the pictures for the older but I'm reality it feels miserable and depressing however the owner did not care for this and gladly robbed us and wouldn't refund us very disappointing

This caravan was clean and fresh when this customer went on Saturday. Myself and husband cleaned the caravan on Saturday. The customer emailed me on Monday night, the lady did not like where the caravan was on the park. At no time from Saturday till Monday night did the lady complaine. If she had I would of had someone go and see what the problem was. This lady also broke the sky box

I stayed here with 7 other family members. This caravan is a disgrace. The owner accused us of breaking the sky box but when we tried to get sky on the card was burnt when we took it out and it said please check with your supplier hence why we checked the card. Had to change to free view on the actual TV because nothing worked on sky. The toaster was black and rusty. Took an hour to cook 6 sausages and the gas pressure was terrible. The kitchen was tiny and could only fit 1 person in. And way too small to cook for 8 people. Sink was 1/4 the size of a normal sink and for an 8 berth caravan that isn’t ideal. Air freshener situated above table where people eat so would go in food and spray you when you walked past. Interior very outdated and like something from the 80’s. Caravan situated next to a brick wall that had barbed wire on it, felt like a prison and the area was depressing, no sign of life apart from the seagulls. Basically an OAP area not ideal for kids. The rooms are too small. The twin rooms you couldn’t even walk between the beds without walking sideways which isn’t ideal for older family members. In the double en suite room the bed was too small, couldn’t even open the door properly, had to climb over the bed to get in because of the bedroom door. The mattress had a blood stain on it which was really disgusting and you had to bring your own bedding. In the bathroom in the en suite the water pressure was next to none and the hot water tap never worked and just ran cold. And when people would sit on the toilet the lid would hit you in the back and the seat wasn’t secure. One of my family members has bruises on her back from the toilet lid. The sofa had brown stains on it which was disgusting and the sliding doors wouldn't even open unless fiddling with it for a while. And the owner had accused our family of breaking the sky box when the chip on the sky card was burnt and hot when we checked it to make sure it was in properly and working but it never did. The main bathroom there was hardly any room and when you sat on the toilet you would be inches from the wall. Also the hot water tap wasn’t secured to the sink and was very wobbly and the pressure on that one was really bad too. Overall this caravan is inhabitable and I don’t know how this woman can still advertise it until it is all fixed. Definitely not big enough for 8 people more like 1. My family paid £665 for 7 night stay but we had to move caravan and pay for another one after 2 and a half days because this caravan was terrible. The owner has refused a refund when her caravan has all these faults which is why we moved. No family should have to move caravans on holiday due to the amount of faults in one caravan. DO NOT RECOMMEND, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

I have replied to the review twice, as the same family have put the same complaint through 3 times

Family With Older Children

Date of stay - 23 Jul 2021 - 30 Jul 2021

If I could give 0 stars I would. This caravan is very outdated and has an interior from the 80’s. Not pleasing to look at. Not very homely, says child friendly but definitely not unless you want your children to be miserable. The area in which the caravan was situated was next to a brick wall that had barbed wire going along the top. Literally felt like a prison camp. There was next to no people visiting the surrounding caravans and the only sign of life we saw was the seagulls. Area was very depressing and next to a main road, not ideal for children. The double room with en suite was an absolute disgrace and shouldn’t even be lived in. The door to the bedroom wouldn’t even open because the bed was in the way you had to climb over the bed. The shower pressure was awful and was barely a trickle. The toilet lid would keep falling down and one of my family members even has a bruise on her back from this. The hot tap wouldn’t work and just ran cold. Also on the mattress was a blood stain which was really disgusting and should have been cleaned before we got there. Also had to provide our own bedding. The twin rooms were too small and cramped and had to walk sideways to even get in the room, not really ideal for older family members. The doors were smaller than average and very slim so some family members had to walk in sideways. The main bathroom wasn’t great either. The hot tap was hanging off and very wobbly and again the water pressure was next to none and when sat down on the toilet you were inches from the wall touching your face. The kitchen could barely fit one person in and was very small, the sink was 1/4 the size of a normal sink and isn’t ideal for an 8 berth caravan. The toaster was black with rust was was unusable. Fridge freezer very small and couldn’t hardly fit anything in. Cooker was terrible and the gas pressure was basically nothing, took an hour to cook 6 sausages. Can’t even cook for 8 people the kitchen is that small. The sky box wasn’t working when we tried to get channels on. The tv said to check card supplier, we checked the card and the chip was burnt and red hot so we left it and switched to freeview as the sky box was clearly faulty. Even then we had Trouble because the remote was faulty. The air freshener was situated above where people eat so would spray into peoples food and would spray you as you walked past. Sorry but I don’t want to be poisoned on holiday. The sliding doors at the front of the Caravan were hard to open because it was faulty whereas the other one opened straight away. The sofa had brown stains on it so was clear it hadn’t been cleaned which was disgusting. Overall an inhabitable caravan and should no longer be in service until fixed. Also I would give the owner 0 stars too. We had to move caravans and pay extra money because this was an absolute disgrace and waste of money and the state of it was that bad. We moved caravans after 3 days and the owner has refused a refund even though we never stayed there for the full 7 nights. Owner has accused us of breaking the sky box when it was already broke. She is probably doing this because she doesn’t want to give us a refund or our deposit back. It was already broke which she probably had knowledge of but blamed us so she didn’t have to give a refund. We didn’t complain to the owner directly because we just wanted out so we just got a different caravan and don’t bother fixing any of the problems with the owner. Regret doing this because we could have had our backs covered about the sky box. Also we left the place spotless and clean and tidy just like we left it. No damage done from our family. This caravan had great reviews which were promising when looking for a caravan to stay in. But clearly the owner must write these herself or the people who have been are OAP’s and like this style and aren’t really bothered about all the problems. The caravan also looked really good on the pictures but when we got there it was far from it and the pictures must have been from when it was first made. Overall experience was very bad, this owner is a rip off and will just rob your money. Do not recommend this caravan or using this advertiser at all. Avoid at all costs!

This review is extremely unfair, our caravan is always full and we have no complaints. If people have issues, we will deal with them but we need to be told. The caravan is on the quieter side of the park, which we say on our page. We tell all people staying in our caravan that they need to take their own bedding. We are not next to the main road, we are at the bottom of the road. The brick wall with barb wire is on the other side of the road and belongs to another caravan park

Just seen a disgruntled review left by someone, so thought i would just jump on and briefly say my experience of the caravan upon my stay there last month, and any points the disgruntled customer has brought up. Overall i thought the location of the caravan was perfect, quiet and parking available , who wants a noisy area where you can hear people passing all time talking, and drunk aswell from the club. No complaints regarding location at all. The musky smell i noticed will be coming from the carpet i assume with wet feet etc coming in from outside. Pretty sure it be the carpet. A new change of carpet and the smell would most certainly be gone. The sliding doors , i think the disgruntled customer meant locking and opening it, as was very fiddly and tight so maybe it does need checking and the toilet seat in main bedroom did come down on occasions and needs looking at. Apart from that though, my stay was a enjoyable one, it probably needs some things updating in caravan , some things, but dont they all. Price wise i thought it was a little dear if honest compared to others, but i chose this one as it was 8 berth, im not sure why 8 though as only 3 bedrooms so i suprised it is not down as a 6 berth ? maybe the owners who i found lovely by the way can explain that. I no complaints at all, just writing the review to help with the musky smell solution and a couple of others problems that was mentioned regarding the disgruntled customer. New carpet, few things updated inside and maybe some more recent pics of the garden and inside the caravan again and everyone knows then what they getting.

Thank you for your review, we will take on board your comments. We have already decided to change the charge at the end of the season, we are going to put laminate down. The toilet seat, the problem is the toilet it self so will be changed at end of season. We say 8 berth as the sofa in the lounge is a sofa bed.

This was a return visit to this beautiful, clean and very well kept caravan, everything needed for a holiday is provided, a proper home from home. The owner has even supplied a new teapot for us as she knew that we used one at home. So thoughtful and so caring of her. The holiday park is very well maintained and very close to shops, large supermarket and the Tir Prince market. We highly recommend this caravan and this holiday park. We hope to return again in 2017.

Joan and John are a lovely couple who have stayed before and our welcome back anytime. We like our customers to feel at home xx

This caravan is by far the best caravan that we have ever stayed in on this site.Everything that we needed was supplied. We were met by the very courteous & helpful owners and shown how to work the heating and where to find everything in the caravan. The weather proved to be fantastic as well.If it is available we are hoping to revisit in April and then again at the end of October 2016.
