The caravan is a Prestige with decking in the Kings Barn part of the site which is a lovely quiet part of the site with gorgeous views over the trees and the sea beyond.

We love to just relax in our caravan with a glass of wine and the TV on or on sunny nights sit outside on the decking and watch the sun go down. The caravan is fully central heated - an absolute must for the colder nights and its double glazed for the extra insulation.

The kitchen is fully fitted with a dishwasher, fridge & 3 drawer freezer, 5 ring gas cooker, Tassimo coffee machine etc and the cupboards usually have the essentials to get you started as most people leave food stuff that they don't want to cart home. We supply toilet roll and hand towels and also quilts and pillows - you only need to bring your own bath towels, quilt covers, sheets and pillow cases. There is a good sized shower/bathroom and an en-suite bathroom with shower over in the main bedroom, the twin bedroom is a good size and if needbe can be converted to another double room - just let us know at the booking stage so we can swap the single quilts for a double. Hairdryer, iron & iron board along with a travel cot and high chair are also included. We will allow responsible pet owners to bring their pets under the agreement that they will not be allowed on the sofas, chairs or beds. The park rules also insist that all dogs are kept on their leashes and all dog waste is picked up and disposed of - which, when we had our dog, was never a problem - we brought her own bed to the van and she loved the lovely walks that surrounded the park!

The beach is at the front of the site excellent for a lovely walk on a nice day.

There is also the No 26 bus that goes from the site all the way into Edinburgh City Centre and it leaves every 20 minutes - so no need to take the car and then pay for parking! But if you want to get there quickly - there are trains you can take from any number of train stations - Longniddry, Prestonpans or Musselburgh whisking you into Edinburgh in 15 minutes! Or - have a day at Musselburgh Race course - a great day out - check their website for race days.
