Description

Description

The beautiful panoramic sea views across Poole harbour to Arne are simply breathtaking and are what persuaded us to buy the van in the first place. We love spending time there and we're sure you will have the most wonderful holiday if you decide to book with us.

Our fabulous caravan is on the front row of Pine Ridge, one of the best pitches on the whole of Rockley Park. It is a 2010 model which we remodelled in 2014 with new carpets and flooring, altering the layout to make the most of the view from inside.

The south facing veranda is a real sun-trap which allows you to drink in the view and do a bit of people-watching as folk walk by on the road below.

It's a cosy van with double glazing and a centrally heated radiator in every room. Heating is by a gas 'combi' boiler so the hot water never runs out!

If you feel like stretching your legs, it's just five minutes' level walk to the main site facilities, one minute across the road to the nature reserve, or three minutes (steeply!) down to the beach where you will find a café, playpark and Rockley Watersports. Further afield there are all the delights of Poole and Bournemouth on the doorstep.

Here is a brief outline of what's in each room:

Main bedroom: King sized bed with super comfy pocket sprung mattress new for 2019, double wardrobe, bedside units and cupboards over, 23 inch flat screen TV with integrated DVD, hair dryer.

Second bedroom: twin beds (can be pushed together), single wardrobe, bedside unit.

Shower room: large shower with powerful spray, basin, loo with soft close lid, cabinet.

Kitchen: soft-close doors, large integrated fridge-freezer, full-sized oven and grill with hood, toaster, kettle, microwave, sink, well equipped with cutlery, crockery etc.

Dining area: table with four chairs.

Sitting area: large, comfortable sofa and pouffe, black glass flame-effect electric blow heater, storage units, coffee table, 32 inch flat screen TV, Blu-ray/DVD player, Bluetooth MP3 speaker, PlayStation 2 with games, jigsaws. Double patio doors out onto the veranda. The doors can be secured completely open, making the veranda part of the sitting area.

Veranda 6ft x 15ft: south facing, those views! Aluminium and glass table with two matching reclining chairs, two plastic chairs, gate with steps down to grass area.

Outside: grass area, space for a car, hose pipe.

If you have any questions we'd be delighted to help, so just get in touch.

LINEN: Towels & bed linen are NOT provided but are available for hire on site. Duvets and pillows (with protectors) are provided.

FUN PASSES: These can be purchased at Rockley Park reception and allow entry to the entertainment complex and swimming pools. Prices vary through the year and can be found on the Haven website.

ACTIVITY PASSES AND BOOKINGS: Available at Sports Zone Reception for activities such as sports, art, climbing etc. Fun Passes are not required for these activities.

Family With Older Children

Date of stay - 25 May 2019 - 1 Jun 2019

Absolutely fantastic caravan, clean, well equipped, really well looked after, comfortable and most of all stunning views! Rockley Park is a brilliant Haven site. We have been to Devon Cliffs (this being their largest site) but Rockley Park is much nicer we feel. Entertainment by the Haven Theatre Team was outstanding! They all work so hard (their entertainment was actually better than the outside entertainers!). Bingo was fun as well. Our 13yr old and 11yr old loved the entertainment (they are too old now for the daytime activities). We hired bed linen and towels through Haven which was easy, simple and quite cheap to do so. Highly recommend Harbour View restaurant on site, delicious food and generally has good offers on (my husband I had 2x large cod, gastro chips with peas/mushy peas or beans and a bottle of white wine for £29.99!) We absolutely loved Sandbanks, the beach there is like being abroad definitely worth a visit (we also found Harry Redknapp’s mansion!). We also did the walk down to Durdle Dor which is well worth the visit but only for firm walkers! Sarah made the booking so simple, easy and she was very prompt in replying to Emails. Damage deposit was refunded within the day we returned home! We had a lovely welcome note from Sarah and Peter and some yummy cookies and biscuits that went down a treat. A lovely touch. All in all a fantastic holiday ????

Thank you so much and we're glad you had a wonderful time.

We booked this caravan to visit family. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, everything that you would need was supplied. A couple of evenings were chilly and wet outside, but the heating system was so good that we were warm and cosy. The caravan is situated in a lovely part of the park with wonderful views, the veranda is a perfect place to sit and relax with a coffee or glass of wine! The owners are lovely and very organised with bookings and responding to e-mails. Our deposit was refunded the day we left! Unfortunately our 2 weeks went very quickly but we will certainly book this caravan again.

Thank you and we're so glad you enjoyed your stay.

Lovely modern caravan with everything you need. Washing up liquid, hand soap, new sponge and other basic items included (plus biscuits on arrival!). Views are fantastic. Location great. Away far enough from entertainment complex for a quiet evening and 5mins walk from beach. Owners are very good to deal with and respond to messages quickly. Deposit was returned on the same day as our departure. You won't be disappointed.

Thank you - so glad you enjoyed your stay.

A beautiful caravan with amazing views. We arrived to find the location was ideal for both the day time fun park/swimming pool complex etc and for the beach. Caravan is fully equipped for a holiday. A lovely veranda to take in sun and views. I would recommend this caravan you won't be disappointed. The owners where very helpful and prompt with queries. Looking forward to going back.

Our first visit to a caravan and holiday park (normally go abroad) and very pleasantly surprised. Lovely, clean caravan with amazing views and in a nice quiet part of the park, not too crammed in. Good selection of cooking utensils enabled us to cook some meals in and we ate off site whilst exploring Studland Bay, Corfe and Swanage which are all close by. Our 5 yr old enjoyed the activities and entertainment and didnt want to go home. Some people complain about wifi not being free but you get 30 mins free in caravan and apparently its free in entertainment area. Was not a problem for us as we dont do wifi on our phones and are happy to get away from technology and do old fashioned things like playing games with our daughter instead of being glued to a ipad/iphone! We found all staff at Rockley Park friendly and nothing was too much trouble, the entertainment staff are fantastic with the kids and work long hours yet are always smiley and fun. The owners are lovely to deal with and provide lots of helpful info and our deposit was refunded super quick. Would highly recommend and we are planning our next visit!
