Booking terms and conditions
Deposit and full payment: To reserve a booking a non refundable £100 per week deposit must be paid at the time of requesting the dates. The outstanding balance payment must be received no later than 6 weeks prior to the commencement of your holiday. If a booking is made within 6 weeks of commencement of your holiday, full payment will be due. Should a cancellation be made prior to the payment of your full balance only the deposit sum of £100 per week will be forfeited. If a cancellation is made within 6 weeks of your holiday start date, then the total hire charge will be payable. (Please ensure your holiday insurance provides adequate cover). A £100 SECURITY DEPOSIT IS PAYABLE AT THE SAME TIME AS THE FINAL BALANCE. THIS WILL BE REFUNDED WITHIN 3-5 DAYS OF DEPARTURE ONCE THE CARAVAN HAS BEEN CHECKED TO ENSURE THAT THERE IS NO DAMAGE TO THE CARAVAN OR ITS CONTENTS. WE DO EXPECT THE CARAVAN TO BE LEFT CLEAN AND TIDY ON DEPARTURE.
Covid-19 refund/cancellation policy.
If the holiday park is open and you request a cancellation you will be offered a change of date free of charge if available and a new non refundable deposit will be required to confirm the dates to you. As a gesture of good will, any deposit/balance already paid from the previous booking will be taken off the final balance of the new holiday dates. Please note that if you select a lower priced break and have already paid in full we will refund the difference. Or if the cost of your stay is higher you will need to pay any outstanding difference. If you still request to cancel, standard cancellation terms and conditions will apply and you will have to claim via your holiday insurance company. This also applies to areas experiencing local lock downs, if your area is locked down due to government rulings and are unable to travel, we will contact you and offer you a change of date free of charge. Any cancellation will be as per standard terms and conditions, and will have to be claimed back via your travel insurance.
If the holiday park is closed when you are due to take your holiday, you will be offered a full refund of any monies already paid or a transfer free of charge to a future date on which all monies already paid will be transferred to the new holiday dates.
Should the holiday park have to close on government advice whilst you are staying with us, you must immediately pack up your belongings taking note of our terms and conditions and return to your primary residence, in this instance, a pro-rata refund will be provided taking into account the number of nights that you have stayed with us.
We cannot be held responsible for any facilities that are temporarily unavailable or closed on park as these are provided by Parkdean Resorts at an additional charge to you.
Arrival and departure: The holiday home will be available from 4pm on your arrival date. Please vacate by 10am on the day of departure.
Other terms and conditions:
Bed linen is not included although we do provide pillows duvets and protectors. A bed linen set can be hired at a fixed price of £40. Please advise at the time of booking if this service is required.
Strictly no pets in the holiday homes
Strictly no smoking in the holiday homes.
No maggots, casters or worms to be kept inside the holiday homes an external tackle/bait locker is provided for this purpose.
The holiday home is six berth and is not to be exceeded.
Responsibility is not accepted for personal injuries or illness, damage or breakages of personal items (including motor vehicles). Please ensure you are covered with your own home/holiday/car insurance
No all male/female parties will be accepted where half the party is under the age of 25
Single sex angling parties where all members are over the age of 25 are welcome. Maximum of four people (White Acres policy)
Full names and dates of birth (if under the age of 18) are required to enable use of all the on-site facilities (White Acres requirements)
In the event of behaviour likely to cause offence or damage to others, the White Acres security team and management reserve the right to remove any offenders from the park without redress; in this instance no monies will be refunded.
Fire not to be left on over night or while guests are away from the holiday home.
Please remove muddy and wet footwear when entering the holiday home.
Prior to departure, please ensure all damages or breakages are reported, as they must be paid for prior to leaving.
Strictly no barbeques on any of the decking areas. Damage to the decking will be charged for.
Ensure that all fridge/freezer items are removed upon departure, as well as items purchased while on holiday (ie buckets and spades)
The charging of electric vehicles from the caravan's power supply is strictly prohibited.
We request that you respect our rules as these holiday homes are privately owned.
Please ensure that you purchase the correct Environmental Agency fishing licence before you go fishing. These can be bought directly with the Environmental Agency online, or at any Post Office. These must be in your possession every time you go fishing. The Environmental Agency regularly make checks to ensure that anglers carry the correct licence and without this, you could be issued with a hefty fine and prosecution.
