Owner Description

Our BK Bluebird Calypso is a family-owned caravan situated in a cul-de-sac and can sleep 6 guests. The caravan is spacious at 32x12ft, has electric heating with a gas fire in the lounge, and has modern furnishing throughout. The seating upholstery in the living and dining area has been replaced for the 2018 season, so the sofas and stools are lovely and clean and fresh.

The caravan comprises of a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a double sofa bed in the spacious living and dining area. There is a modern bathroom with a toilet, basin and shower cubicle along with a heated towel rail, and a beautiful, clean kitchen fully equipped with all kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery and a Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee machine. There is plenty of storage space throughout the caravan, and a fluffy new living room carpet from March 2017. There is a 32inch LED flat screen television in the living area with Freeview and DVD player, as well as a flat screen TV in the double bedroom for watching DVDs. There is a patio and grass area outside the caravan, which also has a picnic bench for outside dining.

The caravan is our family holiday home and so we have cupboards full of DVDs, books, windbreakers, a mallet, parasol and some bodyboards, as well as a GHD hairdryer in the bedroom. We are happy for our guests to make use of all of these items.

Pillows and duvets are available for all beds, though guests are required to bring their own bed linen, towels, tea towels (if required) and bath mats.

Gas and electric are included in the price.

There is no allocated parking bay, though there are parking bays available in the cul-de-sac right opposite the caravan.

Our caravan is a five minute walk to the slope that leads down on to the beach and a stones throw to all the on-site facilities.

We are happy to offer discounts for those wishing to book for a fortnight, or for further stays through the season. We are also able to offer Friday-Monday and Monday-Friday stays at a reduced cost, so please get in touch if the dates you require aren’t listed on our diary.

Entertainment passes are required for access to the park facilities and must be purchased at the Haven office on site.




Park and Location

Perran Sands Holiday Park is an award-winning park owned by Haven and features panoramic views of the Cornish coast, with nearby Blue Flag Perranporth beach famous for surfing and bodyboarding, which is only a short walk away over the sand dunes, or along the smaller beach area at the bottom of the holiday park when the tide is out.

The park has two swimming pools, one heated indoor pool with flume, and one heated outdoor pool open at the end of May to the end of August. There is an amusement arcade on site, play areas, a crazy golf course, pedal karts for hire, a host of restaurants, takeaways, cafes and bars, a gift and grocery shop with bakery, a kid’s club and a launderette.

The small picturesque town of Perranporth is quirky and quaint, with a host of independent businesses on the high street. You can enjoy homemade ice creams, stone baked pizzas, cream teas, cocktails, fresh Cornish pasties and cream cakes, or shop in the many gift, clothes or shoes stores along the road. The town can be reached within three minutes by car, or around a 15 minute walk over the sand dunes and across the beach.
