Conditions of Hire for 10 Lagoon View, Church Farm, Pagham
By completing the booking form you agree to the following terms and conditions of hire.
1. Contract: The Contract of Hire shall be between the person hiring 10 Lagoon View, Pagham, hereafter referred to as ‘the Hirer’ and Mrs Lisa Wilcock owner of 10 Lagoon View, Church Farm Pagham, hereafter referred to as ‘the Owner’. 10 Lagoon View Church Farm, Pagham is hereafter referred to as ‘the Caravan’.
2. Bookings: (Bookings for persons or groups under 21 years of age cannot be accepted).
Upon receipt of your enquiry by email or telephone and subsequent agreed rental dates between the Hirer and Owner, a booking can be provisionally held on trust for a period of 7 days only. A completed booking form and non-refundable of £50 deposit is required to secure the booking (unless otherwise agreed). If the booking form and deposit is not received by the Owner within this 7 day period, then the provisional booking will be cancelled. Bank or card payments from abroad will be subject to a 4% surcharge to cover currency conversion charges if applicable.
3. Balance of payment: this should be made 6 weeks before the start of the Caravan booking on the date given in the letter of receipt for the deposit. If you are booking the Caravan for a date in less than 6 (six) weeks, the full amount will be required.
4. Non payment of balance: In the event of balance of rental payments not being made by the due date, and when the hirer makes no request for additional payment time, the Caravan booking dates will be re-advertised and no refund will be given. We advise guests to arrange cancellation and holiday insurance with the insurer of your choice to cover any eventuality.
5. Cancellation within 4 weeks of the Caravan booking date: For the hirer to cancel for any reason within 4 weeks of the start of the Caravan booking date, he / she should advise us immediately by telephone or e-mail followed by a confirmatory letter. All monies shall be forfeited.
6. Cancellation more than 4 weeks before the holiday: Any cancellation following payment of a deposit, balance or total amount more than 4 weeks before the start of the holiday is subject to a £50 cancellation fee.
7. Breakages/Damages: Major breakages/damage should be reported to the owner immediately.
8. Check IN/OUT We will have your accommodation thoroughly cleaned and ready for your occupation by 2 p.m. on arrival date. Accommodation must be vacated by 11 a.m. on departure date. The key is held in a key safe outside the caravan. Codes for the key safe and the electric gates will be provided upon payment of the balance.
9. Sleeping Capacity: The maximum number of people allowed is 6 can be restricted to 4 people if you are bringing dog(s) at the owners discretion.
10. Access to caravan: The Owner or his representatives shall be allowed access to the caravan at any reasonable time during any holiday occupancy.
11. Pets: Well behaved dogs are allowed. Pet bedding must be supplied by the guests. No dogs on beds please.
12. Linen: The caravan beds will be made up freshly for your stay, however you will need to provide your own towels. We do not supply any baby bedding but a travel cot and high chair are available upon request at no extra charge.
13: Strictly no Smoking inside caravan.
14. Breach of contract: If there is a material breach of any of these conditions by the Guest or any of their party, the Owners or agents reserve the right to re-enter the property, and / or end the letting and require the Guest and their party to leave immediately without refund.
15. Motor Car and Personal Belongings: Free parking at owners risk for 1 car, all cars to park on surfaced car parking areas, not on the grass. Baggage and personal belongings are at the Hirer's risk, and no responsibility can be accepted for loss of or damage to any vehicle or its contents.
16. Complaints: Every effort has been made to ensure that you have an enjoyable holiday. If however, you have any cause for complaint please contact the owner immediately if any problem arises so that it can be speedily resolved. They cannot subsequently consider any complaints or enter into any correspondence about them unless this procedure has been followed. If guests choose to terminate their holiday early for any reason and the above procedure has not been followed, then the owners are entitled to retain the full rental payment already made.
17. Data protection and Privacy: Information provided on Booking Forms will remain confidential and will not be disclosed to a third party or used for any other purpose.
18. Availability: The Hiring Contract is made on the understanding that the caravan and its facilities as published on the internet will be available for the dates stated. In the unlikely event that the caravan is not available through events arising out of the control of the owner, then they may be forced to cancel the booking. The hirer will be advised of any such circumstances as early as possible, and will be refunded all monies paid in full with the Hirer having no further claim against the owner.
19. Behaviour: All persons staying on the park must conduct themselves at all times with due regard to the enjoyment and comfort of others. Social gatherings and/or parties are strictly prohibited at the caravan - the caravan is for your own use only during your stay.
20. Payment methods: For convenience we would prefer payment via BACS transfer, Pay Pal or cheque.
