'Platinum' graded luxury holiday home with central heating & double glazing, on the 5* Par Sands holiday park. 2 bedrooms, family shower room, ensuite WC, front & side decking.
My 2015 model ABI Alderley is a stunning 'Platinum' graded, top of the range holiday home, new to the rental market in 2016, situated on the 5* Par Sands Coastal Holiday Park in Cornwall (between Fowey and St Austell, postcode PL24 2AS) that, being centrally heated and double glazed, is perfect for holidays or short breaks all year round.
It is situated a stone's throw away through the dunes from the large, sandy and sheltered Par Beach, which shelves very slowly, is safe for families and ideal for watersports.
The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a gas cooker, large fridge freezer and microwave.
The lounge has a 40" Flatscreen TV, Freesat, Blu-ray DVD player and a speaker dock with iPod/iPad (lightning) connections plus inputs for 'Aux' (3.5mm jack) and 'USB'. The main bedroom has a wall mounted Freesat TV that also plays DVD's/CD's.
There is a large family shower room plus an ensuite WC and basin, plenty of room and storage, making this a wonderful holiday home that we enjoy staying in ourselves.
On site there is a Clubhouse with indoor swimming pool and tennis courts (membership cards provided) plus other facilities such a play areas, coffee lounge and a launderette plus an exciting new Milo's Italian Restaurant.
The main bedroom is king size with en-suite WC and there are twin beds in the second bedroom plus a family shower room with a large enclosure. Although the caravan is designed for four, there is a sofa-bed in the lounge to accommodate an additional 2 people (although this does make life inside a bit of a squeeze).
We supply bed linen for the main and the second bedrooms plus, if required, for the sofa bed, so all you will need to bring your own bath, hand, beach and tea towels etc.
Outside is a parking bay leading to side decking at the front door where there is a small outside dining set perfect for an al-fresco morning coffee, whilst at the front of the unit double doors lead out from the lounge onto an enclosed area of west facing decking that has a set of comfortable patio furniture.
Location and close by;
Par Sands facilities include a coffee lounge with refreshments and free Wi-Fi, heated indoor pool, all-weather sports courts, a putting green, adventure play areas and launderette facilities. There is also a large freshwater lake which is home to various birds and wildlife.
As you enter Par Sands you will pass The Ship Inn, an 18th century pub with great food and 2 large beer gardens (one family friendly and the other adults only). Opposite The Ship Inn is The Royal Massala Indian Restaurant.
The village of Par itself is just a few minutes' walk (via 2 footpaths) from Par Sands, where you will find a selection of small supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, various other shops and a Post Office. You will also find local bus stops in the village, and nearby Par Railway Station.
Par Sands is also a perfect base for walkers, as the South West Coast Path is right on your doorstep. Zig zag over the cliffs enjoying the spectacular views, small coves, quaint villages and many other places of interest along the way.

Rail links: Par mainline station is a 5 minute walk with mainline links for First Great Western (Paddington etc) as well as local lines to Newquay and elsewhere.

We all had a great weeks holiday the caravan was very modern and very clean full equipped with everything you could want.Lovely extras for rainy days like games DVDs we had a glorious week so we didn't use these .The shed was great with toys and games and beech equipment and nets to borrow.The owner went that extra mile.There is a nice beech very close a lovely fish n chip shop round the corner .But mostly so much to do around the area it was an ideal base.Bring on summer 2017 .!!!!!

Had a fantastic time staying in this wonderful caravan it is in an ideal place for visiting Cornwall , the caravan has everything you need and more it was very clean and comfortable it is in a nice position for you to sit out on the decking and catch the sun ,in the mornings it is nice to sit out on the side decking and drink your morning coffee. The owner of this caravan was very helpful and booking this caravan was very easy . We hope to return again in the near future .

We had a lovely stay at Par Sands. The caravan was brand new, modern and very clean. The site was tidy and well maintained. There is a (smallish) pool and two tennis courts. There is no shop on site but it is only a short walk to the village where there is a Co-op and some local stores. I would certainly book this van again, and recommend it to friends.
