We chose to purchase a holiday caravan at Mother Ivey's Bay because of its quiet and unspoilt location and access to superb North Cornish beaches. The site is also perfect for kids, with pirate play area, including zip wire and plenty of space for riding bikes and playing football in the field. On the site is a great shop with tasty local bread from award winning Chough bakery.
As a keen surfer i can recommend many of the nearby beaches - Constantine, Booby's, Treyarnon and Harlyn, providing lots of variety from beginners to expert with great local surf schools and surf shops.
The caravan is very well equipped for your holiday. Full size fridge freezer, cooker and microwave, heating throughout (if needed) TV and garden furniture. We chose it because of its great position on the site and view to the sea. Padstow is a 5 minute drive away with great shops (Anne's Cottage, Joules, Crew, White stuff to name a few) also several great galleries. Restaurants are fab, Rick Stein owns several as does Michelin star Paul Ainsworth. There are also some good local pubs, we'll leave a list !
As parent of three kids we always appreciate it when you can arrive to sheets on the bed and don't need to clean at the end of the stay, so that is what we provide here. You only need to bring your own towels with you.
