Bought new in the summer of 2015 our lovely, spacious double glazed caravan is for hire, it comprises of 3 bedrooms (1 double and 2 twins) with a fold-up bed in the sitting room area, sleeping 8 in total. It has a shower bathroom and also a separate toilet, fully fitted kitchen along with a generous sized fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, cooker and cooker hood. It has full central heating along with a gas fire in the lounge area, where there is the TV/ DVD combo player. The caravan looks out over fields often with ponies and other wildlife in, there is a sea view from the side front window, there is also an interesting nature walk on site. There is enough crockery and cutlery for 8, as well as cooking equipment. If you don’t feel like cooking, no problem as there are some excellent eateries nearby.
Fire and Carbon Monoxide alarms along with a fire extinguisher are fitted. Gated decking and fold-up picnic tables supplied.
We have purchased an Anti-Viral fogging machine, so that the caravan can be 'fogged' before each let, keeping our guests safe.
Site amenities include a recently refurbished clubhouse, take away, bar, Foxy kids club, kid’s bingo, amusements and pool tables, next gen games den, with free Wi-Fi in the clubhouse, indoor heated swimming pool with aqua gliders and water walkers, 2020 they have updated the changing rooms. Outside there are crazy golf and kids play areas. There is also a shop and a launderette. The owners are not responsible for what site amenities are available at any given time, due to COVID-19 restrictions.
All of these amenities are close by but not near enough to intrude on your enjoyment. We also have a 6 berth caravan on the same site, if you require something, slightly smaller. Widemouth Bay is a short walk away and an even shorter drive. The town of Bude is approx 3 miles from the site and here you will find shops and supermarkets, it is a great place to visit, you can even take a self-drive boat along the canal. Situated on the North Cornish coast you are within easy reach of North Devon as well and places like Clovelly, Bideford and Barnstaple are not too far away. There are many historical places of interest (Tintagel) and family attractions to see within easy reach including Boscastle, Port Isaac (Doc Martin location), Padstow (Rick Stein), Newquay, the camel trail, the Camel Valley Vineyard, the Big Sheep, the Milky Way, Old MacDonald’s Farm and about an hour away is the famous Eden Project. Slightly further and there’s Mevagissey, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Fowey, Looe and many other places.
Gas and electricity are included in the price. The site pass is not included.
Same sex groups refer to stag and hen parties as in the park rules these are not allowed, same sex couples and their families are, of course, welcome.
