The Caravan has a lovely plot and fenced private garden and is on the outskirts of Hambleton Village (near Blackpool, which takes 15/20 minutes to get to by car), there is a regular bus route nearby. The caravan site is in an idyllic area in the countryside. There are many country walks for ramblers etc. and beautiful picturesque villages and nature reserves a short drive away. The Lake District takes about an hour by car. On site, there is a large fishing pond with many large fish, opposite the club house with very friendly staff, that serves food and drinks all day. So why not relax fishing while children are happily playing in the clubhouse, which has a children's games room, pool table, tennis table, numerous television screens to watch your favourite football team playing, laundrette and regular Bingo, Karaoke and live entertainment. If you are a fishing enthusiast, you can fish on the river Wyre less than 3 miles away and umpteen fishing lakes within a 10 mile radius. The site does not have a shop, but a popular shopping area is a 5 minute drive away in Hambleton which has a large competitively priced Spar shop/petrol station/post office and car wash, Kebab shop, fish and chip shop, pet shop, etc. Nearer to the site is a butchers, bakers, ironmongers and grocery store. Also The Shovel Pub which has a wide selection of meals and live entertainment. There is also a Pharmacy and dentist in Hambleton also within easy reach. A ten minute drive away is lovely Poulton le Fylde (market town) with a railway station (with direct route to Manchester if you fancy a shopping trip). In Poulton le Fylde there are shops including a new Aldis, market on a Monday and a myriad of very popular pubs and eating houses of all types (Indian, Thai, Chinese , Spanish, Italian, Tea shops, fish and chips, Kebabs). There is also a travel agent in Poulton le Fylde where you can book bus day trips to further destinations, such as York, Lake District and many other places of interest. Although I've checked "No Pets" box, would consider well behaved small dogs.
