You are one step closer to a truly unforgettable caravan holiday (for all the right reasons!)
My husband and I discovered Aberdunant Hall Holiday Park in 2012 and simply fell in love with the park & surrounding area. Having looked at so many other caravan parks it really stood head and shoulders above the rest and is absolutely unique.
So much so we decided to buy our caravan the first time we visited and we truly look forward to each visit so much so we thought it would be selfish of us not to share with others our wonderful holiday home in a truly beautiful location.
There really is so much to tell you about...
Our luxury spacious Willerby Winchester caravan is fully doubled glazed with central heating so you can be assured of being warm and cosy what ever time of year you visit. But there's so much to discover and do outside...
(Simply stunning) The Park...
Aberdunant Hall Holiday Park is uniquely set within the Snowdonia National Park and stands in unrivaled 150 acre woodland setting boasting nature trails through the woods with waterfalls, streams and natural rock features for you to explore.
As you would expect from a park set in a place of outstanding natural beauty, each season brings a new feel to the park. During the spring the rhododendron bushes start to bloom spreading a blaze of beautiful colour throughout the grounds. Bluebells create a carpet of blue in the woods and signal the start of summer.
In summer you will see the vibrant greens of the oak and beech trees and a mist of pretty wildflowers appear all round.
Autumn arrives and the leaves start to change and the park takes on a warm glow of its own with distinctive bright oranges and reds. Watch as the leaves fall forming a soft carpet whilst the acorns are collected by the wildlife in readiness for the sleep till next spring.
At the on-site country club you'll find a wide selection of quality wines, traditional and local beers at the bar and the bar terrace is a must for relaxing with your favourite tipple.
The Glaslyn Lounge offers great meals and a fantastic Sunday lunch whilst Y Bistro offers more intimate dining. We have found the food to be of exceptional quality, beautifully presented and catering for all tastes.
Out and About…
You will find leading from the park a number of scenic strolls ranging from gentle to more challenging hill walks.
Portmeirion – just 3 miles south - the famous private resort built by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis between 1925 – 1976 – a little piece of Italian Architecture right here in North Wales also featured in the hit 60’s series ‘The Prisoner’!
Porthmadog - just 3 miles to the west of the park - a bustling harbour town with many of the attractions you would expect including the start of the Ffestiniog & highland railways and of course a large supermarket!
Just 2 miles west of Porthmadog you will find Black Rock Sands (in Morfa Bychan) – 4 miles of uninterrupted golden sands with a wide range of water activities, amazing sunsets, look out to sea and then turn around to see the wonder of the mountains including the often snow-capped mount Snowdon.
Beddgelert and the Mountain – just 3 miles east of the park is the famous walking village of Beddgelert with its quaint tea shops, scenic river walks and pubs and restaurants.
Mount Snowdon standing at 3,560 feet is only 7 miles to the North of the park for you serious hill walkers – on a clear day you can see Scotland, England and Ireland – but don’t worry – you can always take the train to the summit!
And there’s more…
For those with an appetite for even more adventure the following activities are all available locally:-
• White Water Rafting
• Rock Climbing
• Horse Riding
• Jet Skiing

Review: "Our party of three adults stayed at Aberdurnant Park the week before Easter (the snowy week!!!) We got to the caravan site and we were truly amazed! As soon as you turn off the road and onto the site, there are waterfalls to see! The site layout is a little confusing at first but the excellent directions provided by Debbie got us to the caravan easily. The site is immaculately kept, and there are a few lovely communal areas. The caravan....where to start, it is spotless, well equipped and simply fantastic. There are 2 bedrooms - the master bedroom has a king sized bed, a large walk in wardrobe and an en-suite toilet. The second bedroom has twin beds, a wardrobe and plenty of overhead storage. The bathroom room has a lovely massive shower which was piping hot and better pressure than my one at home! The kitchen was unbelievably well equipped - pots, pans, lots of crockery (how many egg cups?), sieves, cooking utensils.... there is a full cooker, microwave massive fridge freezer, and a table and chairs. All we needed was food! The lounge was spacious with a 3 seater sofa and 2 swivel arm chairs. There were dvds provided for us to watch and also board games (we had a great time with Rummy!). There was central heating (thank goodness!!) and there were even dog bowls for your furry friends! We were able to park right outside the caravan which was great!! There is an onsite shop which has all your basics and Tremadog is only a few minutes drive away where there is a Spar. In Portmadog (just a few more minutes) there is a huge Tescos, Aldi, Lidl and numerous independent shops (we really loved the health food shop for our vegetarian food!) There is a bar in the hotel onsite which was welcoming and the menu looked very good, we were told the food is very good, although we didn't eat there as we cooked in the caravan every night. On one of the (nicer) days we followed the nature trails around the site and saw pools, woods, waterfalls and views of the steam train in the distance. Overall the caravan was outstanding, and the site was fantastic. I cannot praise both the site and the caravan enough. Booking our holiday with Debbie was very easy and the information provided was excellent. We intend to return in the not too distant future! Hopefully next time we can use the outdoor seating on the decking!!! "

Review: "Firstly, the pictures on the website really don't do any justice!! The caravan is even more beautiful than what we expected. It is fully equipped with everything we needed, we were really surprised of how nice and clean the caravan was, everything seemed to be brand new. It is in a lovely location, with a large veranda. When we stayed the weather was fabulous so we managed to use the barbecue and sit out on the chairs, it was an amazing holiday. Kids and dogs loved it. I have to say that as dogs are allowed I thought beforehand that the caravan would smell of dogs and have hair etc but I couldn't be more wrong, so anyone who isn't a dog owner would still enjoy this caravan as it’s practically brand new! We never had any problems whatsoever, apart from the car hire place and local taxis!! The location is fabulous, lovely walks and nice food at the hotel, the staff also very friendly. We even bumped into one at Porthmadog who recognised us with his dog and he started chatting to us. Thanks for such a lovely stay. Would love to stay again soon, would live there it's better than a house! Thanks Debbie. "

Review: "Just arrived back from what can only can be described as an idyllic & blissful week. As soon as we started driving into Aberdunant Country Park, we were in awe of the beautiful forest surroundings. The caravan is located in such a lovely area of the park (although it is gorgeous everywhere). Upon arrival at the caravan, we were so impressed with the interior, very new, but also very homely. The owners have thought of absolutely everything to accommodate the guests - one example springs to mind, on the 1st day we arrived I found myself needing a needle & thread to mend my daughter’s dress she was wearing, & because the caravan was so well equipped I was not surprised at all to find a sewing kit available to use, panic avoided..! We took our dog, and found the park to be very dog friendly. We met some lovely people there & their dogs. I honestly cannot recommend this holiday park & caravan enough. We have come home with lots of wonderful memories & will definitely be going back when we can. Thanks again Debbie making the booking with you so nice & easy! "

Review: "Just a quick email to say how much we enjoyed our stay in your caravan last week. Lovely caravan, great location and brilliant weather too. We made good use of the decking for meals and a quiet place to read. All in all - a great escape. We would very much like to book the same week next year."
