Pen y Bryn caravan is situated on our own registered smallholding, where we have animals which were mainly rescued or in need of a good home. Your pet is very welcome, should you wish to bring more than one then we would appreciate you letting us know when booking.
PLEASE NOTE:- Under no circumstances are dogs to be left in the caravan for any length of time unaccompanied This is for their own good, a caravan can get hot in a short space of time.
The caravan is extremely comfortable having two bedrooms, one double and one having two single beds which can be made up into a 4' foot double, both have plenty of drawer and wardrobe space. Both bedrooms have electric panel heating. The kitchen is well equipped with everything expected in a kitchen. The dining area is opposite the kitchen having plenty of seating. The living area has very comfortable sprung seating and gas fire coffee table, TV with free view and DVD combined and radio.
Outside we have a large verandah which is accessed from the double doors in the lounge area, dogs love to lie sunning themselves, there's a lovely glass top table together with four chairs and a parasol. There is also a bolted gate from the verandah.
A BBQ is at your disposal.
Parking is adjacent to the caravan.

We had a fabulous stay at Pen Y Bryn. Lovely hosts & great welcome basket of goodies on arrival. The view was beautiful & the animals a delight. We especially enjoyed feeding Derick (pony) apples & watching the red kites feed. If you are looking for a peaceful secluded spot in a beautiful part ofWales then look no further. Definitely recommend.
Thank you Emma for your review, we should be pleased to welcome you anytime. Christine.

We spent an amazing week in this very comfortable home from home. Christine, Carl and Jack the dog gave us a warm welcome and we settled in very quickly. There is plenty to do round and about but it was no hardship to just chill at the caravan watching all the animals that have a very happy home there. (My favourite were the geese). Would gladly recommend and personally can't wait to go back for another visit.
Hi Janice and Andy Many thanks for your lovely review, so pleased you enjoyed your holiday. Jack said please thank Lottie for the biscuits!

We had a superb week here with our dog who really appreciated being able to sit out and watch the animals on the enclosed sun deck. The caravan is fantastically well equipped and the layout is far more spacious than any other we have stayed in. The owners were fantastic hosts and really couldn't do enough for us. The views from the caravan are lovely and watching the animals was extremely entertaining! A lovely week and we will definitely return! Thank you both and we meant to write this review months ago!
Many thanks for such a good review, you'll be very welcome when you wish to return.

We used the caravan as a base while walking the Ceredigion Coastal path, and it was ideally situated for this purpose, being a short drive away from the coast. Being on higher ground, the view from the caravan over fields down to the sea was superb and all the animals were a great source of entertainment. We were made to feel very welcome by Carl and Christine, and the caravan was extremely comfortable, a great retreat after days out in the wind and rain. The only downside was that the weather prevented use of the sundeck!
Hi Girls, Many thanks for your review, lovely to meet you both, so sorry you had such awful weather(beyond our control!).

This is a lovely location with a beautiful view of the sea and land. There's a great little cwm with the most amazing new Oak bridge crossing the stream. The trees and flora in the cwm are from a different age and strip away every care you have in the World. If you like animals you'll love this place, Chris and Karl have a passion for rescuing animals and giving them a heavenly place to retire. Aberaeron is a short drive away and New Quay a little further south. They are both fantastic harbour towns with New Quay having so many Dolphins around it you have only to sit on the quay to view them, if you're lucky. Aberystwyth is to the North, a lovely Victorian seaside town with lots to do and see, If it's likely to be wet, it is Wales remember, then take wellies for the mud and long grass if you intend to walk from the caravan. The long drive from the road to the caravan isn't great if you're in a low sports car, very bumby and slow! They've added some lovely decking to the caravan that's not in the photgraphs which gave us a lovely place to sit outside in the sun and watch the animals and sunset! :-) Thank you.
Hi Jonathan, It was lovely to meet you and your partner Julie, many thanks for the review, hope to see you next year. Christine & Karl.

Had the most pleasant stay at Pen y Bryn with my two dogs. Chris and Carl were very welcoming and went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I enjoyed my time there, even providing a generous welcome basket to ensure I didn't go hungry or thirsty, having arrived at an ungodly hour after a long journey. The van is well equipped, clean and warm and ample bedding and towels were provided. Being watched by alpaccas just a few feet away as I ate my toast in the morning was a unique experience. All in all I cannot fault Pen y Bryn and I will be visiting again shortly!
