Booking Conditions
1. It is recommended that you purchase some form of Holiday Insurance from your local broker to cover your personal luggage, personal money, holiday cancellation/curtailment, personal and public liability etc. This type of cover is fairly standard and not too costly.
2. When you book, a £50 deposit is required for each break. This secures your booking. Please ensure that you include this with your booking form. Alternatively, if you book by phone this should be with me within seven days. This deposit is non-refundable.
3. Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to 'Gary Jones' at the address on the booking form. Cash payments must be sent by registered post as no responsibility can be accepted for loss.
4. On receiving your payment a receipt will be returned. This will confirm your booking and show the remaining balance to be paid no later than eight weeks before your holiday. A due date for this payment will show on your receipt, I will send you a reminder by first class post 10 weeks before your holiday start date. Should your payment not reach us by the due date we reserve the right to re-let the caravan. In addition to the cost of your holiday, you will be billed for an additional £100. This will be refunded to you by post once the Caravan has been checked for damage and cleanliness following your holiday, provided no damage has been found and you have left it in a clean and tidy condition.
5. Should you book within eight weeks from the date of the holiday; the full amount will be due immediately unless prior arrangements have been made with myself or Butlins. If the full amount is not received within 7 days of you making your booking you will be liable for the £50 deposit and the dates will be made available to other customers to book.
6. Please ensure that you complete the booking form accurately, as failure to do so could result in you forfeiting your holiday.
7. I regret that I am unable to accept bookings from:-
a) Groups of persons of all one sex (except on Adult Weekends)
b) Groups under 30 years of age
8. Butlins is a family holiday park and anyone whose unreasonable conduct causes a nuisance to any other persons on the park may be asked to leave.
9. In order for the caravan to be cleaned and checked, departures must be made before 10am on the day of departure and no keys will be released before 4.00pm on the day of arrival.
10. I cannot accept responsibility or liability for any accidents or injuries which occur during your stay in my caravan unless there is proof of negligence on my part.
11. The caravan must be left as you found it, in a clean and tidy condition. On arrival if this is not the case you are to contact me as soon as possible. Failure to bring this to my attention on arrival would mean that you are responsible on departure. The hirer is responsible for all members of the party and must make good any losses, breakage, or damage done to the caravan or its contents during their stay.
12. Pets are not allowed to stay in the caravan. Failure to notify me of your intention to take a pet will result in your holiday being forfeited.
13. No smoking is allowed in any caravan. Anyone found smoking will be asked to leave with no refund.
14. Should accommodation booked become unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control a full refund will be given up to the price paid for the caravan hire.
15. If due to illness, injury, accident or any other reason you are unable to take your holiday you must advise me immediately by telephone and then confirm in writing including a doctor's note. Reimbursements will be made according to the following guidelines: -
a. I will return your monies (less deposit) if written notification is received before 31 days of your holiday commencing.
b. I will return 50% of your monies (less deposit) if written notification is received before 21 days of your holiday commencing.
16. If you submit your booking form electronically you are automatically agreeing to have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.
17. I reserve the right to change any of these conditions at any time and give you 28 days notice of the changes
18. In the case of any dispute my decision or Butlin's is final.
Please note I do not own the Butlins Resort and therefore cannot accept liability for alterations to the facilities from those advertised.
Do to regulations set down by Butlins, we are no longer allowed to accept bookings for more than 6 persons sharing the holiday home.
By completing the booking form you are agreeing to these conditions.
Any amendments to your booking will be charged at £10 per change, by Butlins.
