Additional info:
This caravan has been professionally reupholstered, repainted as required and is kept in excellent condition.

Experience the wildlife and farm animals on a tranquil organically farmed croft which is also close to many exciting places and attractions to visit.

Peter and I re-established the croft of Laikenbuie which is situated in a beautiful hiddenglen four miles south of Nairn. The holiday home overlooks a loch surrounded by natural birch woods and bog meadows full of wild flowers.

You can watch roe deer and red squirrels, or perhaps glimpse a wild cat, or fox. We have seen ninty species of birds, including osprey fishing for brown trout in the loch, buzzard, red kite, barn owl, long-tailed tit and a greater spotted woodpecker which comes to the nut feeders.

The Moray Firth has many varied geographical areas all within easy reach. From long sandy beaches, through mature woods with cascading rivers, up to the ski slopes high in the Cairngorms. The climate is usually kind with only 23in of rain and plenty of sun. There are dolphins in the sea, monsters in the loch (or so we believe), deer on the ground and eagles in the air. If you take a little time to look for these and the other birds and animals you have a good chance of success.

With views over the loch our large modern caravan is 33ft by 10ft. It is Tourist Board inspected and very well equipped with a shower and toilet, full size gas cooker, electric fridge, cutlery and crockery, all cooking utensils, cleaning equipment and colour TV. The double bed and the bunks have duvets. Please bring duvet covers (or top sheet), bottom sheets, pillowcases, towels and teatowels - unless you want us to provide these at extra cost. The price includes gas and electricity.

Pisces has one double bedroom and one with 6ft bunks. The kitchen/living area is large with an attractive wood finish. With the dining area made into a double bed there is sleeping accommodation for a maximum of six.

Ideal accommodation for this solo traveller. The caravan was very comfortable and clean, with all the necessary equipment and facilities I needed. I was impressed with the steps taken to ensure guests' safety and security during the COVID-19 period. It's a beautiful and peaceful site, and the owners and their staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. I hope to return soon.

After a cancelled French holiday due to covid, we really couldn't have wished to find a more beautiful, peaceful and friendly spot for a much needed summer Scottish break. Set in acres of land which is well worth exploring. The owners couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We fed chickens, lambs and our dog had an absolute ball. The caravan was well equipped and everything was all covid friendly. Nairn and it's gorgeous beach was just 10 minutes drive away, with many other stunning beaches, lochs and tourist locations within easy reach of this lovely little location. All rather beautiful and would definitely recommend a visit.

Fantastic place to stay for holiday. Very friendly and supportive staff, clean and fully equipped accommodation. The perfect base to explore Highlands: beautiful beaches, unforgettable views from the North Coast 500 and Isle of Skye. Everything in driving distance, including not only known places such as Loch Ness but also prehistoric rings of stones, views on beautiful bridges, mountain, castles and wild animals including dolphins. The wild nature and historic experience in one.

Thanks Alicja. Yes there are so many different places to visit in this part of the Highlands.

My wife and I stayed in the caravan and it was spotless. Very comfortable. Wildlife is our hobby and we were overwhelmed at the amount both on the park and nearby. An absolute pleasure. Our hosts were very welcoming and treated us like old friends. For relaxation and yet near so many facilities this was ideal for us.

Yes James, we love the wildlife and want to maximise the wildlife potential of this wee glen by providing diverse habitats. Thanks for your review.

I'm a French birdwatcher in holidays (so excuse my approximative english). The caravan was clean and confortable, and the host were very kind. Very good place for birdwatching, 60 species of bird near the caravan in one week. Good place for birdwatching near Lakenbuie (Capercaillie and Osprey at 10 minutes of road, and all the coastal place like the Findhorm bay near Nairn). Perfect place to stay if you love nature !

Thanks Simon, it was a pleasure to gain from your knowledge of birds and their songs.
