Nestled within the Durdle Door Holiday Park right on the Jurassic Coast, this lovely static caravan is set in a fantastic location and offers a real home from home experience. We recognise that any time away is invaluable – whether it’s to recharge your batteries, explore new places or just get away from the pace of everyday modern life, you want a place that affords you the opportunity to do as much, or as little, as you want.

Having had a caravan here for many years, we fell in love with this spot. So we are delighted that we are now able to offer others the opportunity to come and enjoy this amazing place. It is our aim to make sure that you leave having fallen in love with it too!

In terms of the location, the caravan is located within Durdle Door Holiday Park, which simply couldn’t be any closer to the coast if it tried! Set within a small cul-de-sac, close to the path to the beach, our caravan offers all the creature comforts - three separate bedrooms (one double with a double bed and two singles with a standard single bed in each ) with plenty of hanging and storage space, a bathroom and a second, separate lavatory. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas hob and oven, good-size fridge-freezer, microwave and all the usual cooking utensils and accompanying crockery. The generous living area includes two sofas (one of which doubles as a pull out bed), TV and a DVD player. The van enjoys free wifi, and Central Heating throughout, and an electric fire in the living space for those days and nights when the British weather proves true to form! Bedding is provided, but please bring your own towels.

Outside, there is a substantial decking area that really catches the sun, enhanced by outdoor table, chairs and parasol, perfect for summertime alfresco dining when the sun is out, or a useful ‘mudlock’ when coming home from a day in the rain. Right outside the van is a large grass area and circular path – perfect for younger members of the family to practice on their scooters.

Finally, we know only too well that your dog is as much a member of the family as anyone else! The walks around Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove are simply spectacular and a good walk is just not the same without your canine companion – so we are delighted to welcome dogs into our caravan for the duration of the stay. We do kindly request, however, that dogs are kept on the floor, rather than allowed on the furniture, to help us to keep the caravan nice for future guests.

Of course, we recognise that sometimes, taking your dog with you can be limiting, so we are able to offer contact details of local dog sitters who offer excellent value for money, all by prior arrangement.

Durdle Door Holiday Park itself is family-owned and offers every facility you could need – two children’s play areas, the Blue Crab Café Bar, a well-stocked on-site shop and token operated laundrette and washing facilities. But perhaps the best bit is the immediate access to Durdle Door Beach, Man-of-War Cove, Lulworth Cove walks and the Jurassic Coast Path. If your search has brought you this far, you will know how truly beautiful this spot is.

The 95 miles of Jurassic Coast is understood to represent some 185 million years of the Earth’s history with rocks from the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretacious eras – indeed it is thought to preserve, as fossils, about a third of the time of complex life on Earth.

This was England’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site, awarded in 2001, due to its unique geology, landforms and crystal clear waters offering ‘universal value to all mankind’ and joining other distinguished landmarks such as the Great Barrier Reef and the Grand Canyon. It is, in short, genuinely stunning. Perhaps even more inspiring is that the stretch of coastline remains accessible for all – whether paddle boarding or kayaking, walking or coasteering, or simply enjoying a proper West Country icecream, this part of the world offers something for everyone.

Further afield, there is everything from Dry Slope Skiing at Warmwell to Dorset Waterpark at Corfe (a particular family favourite of ours!) and the towns of Weymouth, Poole and Bournemouth are within easy driving distance and come with all of the amenities you would expect - from supermarkets to swimming pools.

What more could anyone wish for!

Check in is from 4.00pm onwards and check out at 10.00am please.
