*****Covid 19*****

We are working hard to make the caravan Covid secure for your holiday. We have followed the government guidelines and have been awarded the ‘Good to Go’ mark by Visit England.

Our cleaner is doing extra cleaning between lets, to disinfect all surfaces, light switches and high touch areas. We have throws on the settees which will be disinfected. We will also leave bedding packs rather than make the beds and will change the duvet and pillows over for each let. We have removed all soft furnishings and anything not essential for the holiday. We will provide a pack with washing up liquid etc rather than leaving these out. Check in with be via a rotated key box, so you won’t need to have contact with anyone to gain entry. Our cleaner has PPE to protect her and you.

We will refund you if the holiday can’t go ahead due to a local lockdown, or move the dates to later in the year.

Our caravan is great for a relaxing and quiet break, with immediate access to Rye Harbour Nature Reserve for walking and bird spotting. Dogs are very welcome. The caravan is well equipped for holidays with high speed wifi, Netflix and NowTV and essentials like an iron and hairdryer. Bedding is included, all beds have electric blankets and there are electric radiators for cooler days. We aim to equip the caravan so you can just walk in and sit down and don’t need to bring anything with you, so it’s particularly suitable for those who come by train and walk or cycle to Rye Harbour from Rye.

Rye Harbour is a quiet and very pleasant site with a swimming pool (in season), a small shop for essentials, a bar with food and entertainment and a children’s play area (these are closed currently due to Covid, but the shop is open and takeaway is available and the shop In the village is open). It’s particularly nice to be able to walk straight onto the nature reserve, so you don’t need to drive to take your dog for a walk. Rye Harbour village is a short walk with a couple of pubs, a small shop and a cafe. Rye and Hastings are a short drive away.

Additional info:
Rye Harbour is very easily accessible by car. There is a train station in Rye and it is walkable to the caravan park in about 45 minutes, but is easier by bike as it’s very flat. There is space on the decking to store bikes. There is a bus to Rye every hour except Sundays.
