Enjoy a break from the hustle and bustle of city life and come and have a break in our new and modern luxury Lake’s Retreats, 3 bedroom, 8 * berth caravan, based in the beautiful and tranquil historic region in the Millom, Lake District, Cumbria facing the Irish Sea and Duddon’s Estuary. The caravan has front double patio doors and spacious front and side decking in a beautiful location.

The caravan is big enough for a family or group holiday and offers everything you could hope for: You will get a fully equipped caravan with kid’s high chair and cutlery, kettle, toaster, microwave, iron, hoover, fresh sheets, duvet, pillows, 6 seat dining table, central heating and fire place. Towels are not supplied; bring your own . The master room contains en suite toilet and sink. The cosy living room is tastefully decorated and has a smart TV and a pull out sofa and there is wifi throughout.

You can relax and experience the calm countryside atmosphere, mountain walks, boat rides and Lake District. Indulge in Cumbria’s history and enjoy modern outside activities.

You can wander down to the nearby park that has its own water sports centre where you can pick anyone of the following: Water Skiing, Wake Boarding, Wake Skating, Banana Boating & Knee boarding. The Ski Bar over looking the lake offers a wide range or refreshments along with hot & cold snacks, which you can enjoy observing the Water sports activities. Come the evening, watch the sunset with a drink or enjoy the bar which offers family entertainment.

On site you can dine in the fabulous Herdwicks coffee house, bistro and pizzeria. Meals are cooked using the finest fresh produce and there is a spacious outside area to dine alfresco whilst looking over the Irish Sea, Duddon Estuary and Lakeland fells.

Take advantage of morning fresh walks around the Duddon Estuary. On your walk you will observe two beautiful sandy beaches on either end of the estuary. Bring your binoculars and be sure to check out Hodbarrow’s birds and the RSPB Nature reserve and lighthouse. If you like fishing, why not try your luck on catching rainbow trout in the lake.

Enjoy the pleasure of planning day trips off the park with the help of brochures found either on the dinning table or reception office.

Just wanted to say thank you for the perfect weekend caravan stay! I took my mam and granny for a once a year trip to get them out the north east and they absolutely loved it. By far the best caravan we have stayed in. Everything you could possibly want for a weekend or week away. Given the time of year, the caravan was warm and cosy! Lovely and spacious. Booking process easy and straightforward, very friendly and helpful host. Perfect for families with children of any age.

Just returned from a long weekend in this fabulous caravan with stunning views in a superb location ideal for exploring South West Cumbria and the Lake District. Stayed in Jamal’s caravan and everything was there we needed excellent facilities. And spotlessly clean to a high standard . Any questions we had he replied instantly and we really enjoyed our stay and definitely will be going back very soon! Our 5 year old son loved it especially the water sports on the lake !

My family and I had a great stay in the caravan so much that my son did not want to leave. The caravan was in a great spot and was easy to get to. The views of the lake was excellent. The owners also provided lots of leaflets with things to do which helped us. Had a great stay and looking forward to the next one.

Owner's booking terms

We are taking bookings for short breaks Mon-Fri 4 nights, Friday to Monday 3 nights and full 7 nights Monday to Sunday. We will do our best to accommodate you outside these times, please contact us for a quote.

Arrivals are from 3pm and departure no later than 11:00am.

To secure your booking we require a non-refundable deposit of £50. This is deducted from your outstanding balance which needs to be paid at least 2 weeks before your holiday starts. We also charge a £ 100 security deposit which will be refunded within 5 days of departure after inspection and part or the full amount may be used against any loss, damage or excess cleaning required.
