Description

Description

Our 2 bedroomed, 38 x 12 foot, double glazed and central heated, 2017 Swift Biarritz caravan, situated on Chesil Vista Holiday Park, will provide couples or families with modern facilities and lots of home comforts too. The large main bedroom, with King-size bed, comes complete with dressing table, walk in dressing area, with storage and the luxury of an En-suite toilet and wash basin. With the twin room just down the corridor, which can be transformed into a second double bedroom by pushing the single beds together, if desired. The shower room, has a large power shower, and being over six foot I can confirm it does accommodate tall people comfortably too. This room also includes the all-important second toilet and wall basin. You will need to bring your own linen, king size sheets and duvet cover and singles for the twin, if needed and of course your towels.
Due to the Covid situation please feel free to bring your own duvets and pillow, if you prefer.

Moving down the holiday home we come to the fully fitted kitchen area with all the appliances and utensils you’d need to prepare any types of meals. There’s a cork screw and bottle opener too :-) The kitchen comes with a gas cooker, with large oven, grill and a four ring hob, an under unit integrated fridge and freezer and finally an eye level microwave oven. Kitchen top appliances include a kettle and a 4 slice toaster. Your safety is assured with a ceiling mounted smoke and carbon monoxide alarm and, just in case, there is a fully armed fire extinguisher on hand.

The dining area has a table and chairs for four, with two additional stools for guests, if required, but if you prefer alfresco dining you could take advantage of the large sun trap veranda, accessed by the side door or through the patio doors through the lounge area. On the veranda, you will find a four seater rattan furniture set, with cushions, for your comfort, and with views to enjoy of Portland, Chesil beach and the Fleet lagoon.

Back inside in the living room, comfortable seating for all the family, an electric convection heater for those chilly moments, and a 40 inch Ultra HD Smart TV and a Blu-ray DVD player for entertainment. There’s also a small selection of games, books and DVD’s for those rainy days when you can’t get out, or if you just fancy a lazy moment. Free unlimited Wi-Fi is available in the caravan.

Additional site facilities include the Spar shop which will deliver during this Covid affected period.

Chesil Vista is an ideal base if venturing out, either in the car, by bus or on foot. If you fancy walking into Weymouth itself, check out the Rodwell trail, which only take 35 to 40 minutes to walk to the harbour, and it has amazing views as well. The places to visit are too numerous to list, but there’s Weymouth beach & harbour, Chesil beach, Portland, Abbotsbury Children’s Farm, Abbotsbury Swannery, Lulworth Cove & Castle, Monkey World, the Tank museum to name but a few :-) All maybe affected by Covid restriction and may need pre-booking.

Come for an adventure, just to relax, or a bit of both.

Lovely caravan and great position with a view down to Chesil Beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The caravan is well equipped and had everything we needed, plus nice furnishings and was well presented. Beds comfortable and plenty of space for our clothes etc. Reception staff were always helpful as were staff in general. Would definitely choose this caravan again if staying in Weymouth. Thank you David for the smooth booking process too. Had to go for ‘mature couple’ in type, as that was closest category, two friends is not a group and may give the wrong impression!

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chesil Vista. The caravan was fantastic. It was spotlessly clean and very spacious. The kitchen was really well equipped and the décor throughout was superb. Beds very comfy and with a family it was lovely having an en-suite. Best caravan I have stayed in. Could not fault at all. The location on the park was great in that the sports pitch was nearby which was ideal for us as our children are older (10 & 14) so we felt able to let them head up by themselves. Swimming pool fantastic and all areas of the park very clean and neat. Would definitely book again.

Hi Cathy. Thank you so much for your great review and kind words regarding the caravan. We're so pleased you all enjoyed your stay. Great memories for the kids. Just let us know if you want to book for next year as we're taking bookings already. Thanks again Dave & Carol

We don't normally leave reviews but I feel that we had such a fantastic caravan I need to review it . The caravan was absolutely beautiful, it was well equipped with everything you could need and more, everything was like new . We thought the binoculars in the caravan were a nice touch it was nice to be able to look out at the causeway, the caravan was spotlessly clean and the larger sized bed and large shower were very much appreciated. We felt very comfortable and had a relaxing break partly due to the caravan being so nice. It is sited towards the back of the park and we found it very quiet, the decking has excellent views in two directions so we were spoilt for choice. It's a real gem. We've had a fantastic time and are looking forward to returning next year.

Hi Debbie, Thank you so much for your lovely review. We're so glad you enjoyed your stay and found the caravan comfortable and to your taste. We're looking forward to hearing from you regarding next year. Kind regards Dave and Carol

My husband and I had a wonderful, relaxing week at Chesil Vista and the caravan was amazing. Very clean in all rooms, which was an important aspect for me and the caravan was so well equipped. From the kitchen, where you have everything to cook whatever meals you want to the living room with the large TV and DVD player. Very homely and although we didn't use it the patio furniture all looks very nice on the veranda (we intend to return next year in the warmer weather to take advantage of this and take in the views). My husband also has a back condition, but the large king size bed was very comfortable and he slept like a log. The entertainment was very good in the evenings and daily bingo which was a nice surprise. We didn't use the swimming pool ourselves as we forgot our things, but talking to other guests with children they all said how good it was. Overall it was a fantastic stay and we will definitely be returning next year.

Hi Maud, Thank you for that amazing review, our first of many hopefully. Please let us know about your plans for next year. kind regards Dave

What a fantastic family holiday we had. Can’t find a thing we didn’t like. The caravan was great and had everything in it for us and the kids. The whole caravan was amazing and seemed brand new. Very, very clean throughout. The kids loved their room and having the en-suite in the main bedroom was a really nice touch. The shower room was really nice and modern. We didn’t cook that much, but the kitchen was like a home from home. The kids were amazed the TV was the same size we have at home and they weren’t expecting that, although we spent most of the time on the decking in the sunshine and the views are stunning. The kids loved the kids club, the swimming pool with the slide, the soft play area, etc. I could go on as there is so much for them to do and they loved it all. Lovely family memories and will be back to make more in 2019.

Hi Joyce, Thank you for that brilliant review. Please let us know about your plans for next year. kind regards Dave
