Description

Description

We enjoy many memorable weeks in our cosy new caravan. It is extra wide and feels like home. There is a large balcony out from the main lounge area which overlooks one of the duck ponds. There is outside furniture to enjoy the hot sun on the balcony all day long.

The open plan Lounge / Dining / Kitchen area is very spacious and has TV, electric fire and well equipped kitchen including large fridge / freezer and washing machine. All windows are double glazed and there are double doors onto the balcony from the lounge area. There is mains calor gas central heating throughout. Parking adjacent to the caravan for 2 cars. The main family shower room is a decent size with large shower, toilet and basin.
Quilts and pillows are supplied but bed linen and towels are not. This will be the responsibility of the hirer.

A 10% non refundable deposit is required on booking and the balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. Sorry but will only book minimum 7 day breaks.

A security bond of £75 is required (which is not included in price) and will be refunded 7 working days after departure providing the caravan is left in good order as found on your arrival, providing there are no breakages/damages or excessive cleaning. This to be paid with the balance.

Our caravan is available from 4:00pm on day of arrival and must be vacated by 10:00am on day of departure.

Generally all bookings should be from Saturday to Saturday

Please note we do not take any bookings from November through to beginning of April.

On site there is ample entertainment for all, together with indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Entertainment passes are extra (around £50 peak season for the family for a week) and can be obtained from reception.

Hunstanton is a lovely picturesque town with plenty of things to do. The beach is approx. 5 minutes from Manor Park, with the Town approx 10 minutes walk. Facilities in the town include coffee shops, restaurants, fish & chip shops, ice cream parlours as well as shops. You may like to visit the sea life centre, indoor swimming pool, indoor bowls, tenpin bowling, gym and many other facilities. Children's amusements can be found along the beach promenade as well as an indoor amusement arcade further in the town.

Tesco supermarket is about 5 minutes walk from the caravan site and there is a very good drinking/eatery establishment across the road from it.

If it is a lovely walk you want then try walking along the cliff top to Old Hunstanton passing beautiful gardens, bowling greens, children's play area, pitch and put. If you visit Old Hunstanton be sure to walk down to the beach and stop off for a coffee in the cafe or something stronger in the pub/restaurant.

There is a bus service operating in the town which takes you to Kings Lynn or in the opposite direction to various towns and on to Cromer. This can also be caught outside the supermarket.

Should you wish to venture further afield there are lovely places to visit such as Wells-by-the-Sea which has unusual shops, a small seaside town train takes you out to the sea front or you can walk, plus the children can go crabbing. Sherringham which is approximately 45 mins drive has its usual array of shops, cafes etc and a steam railway. It is well known for its 40's weekend held normally in September every year. Cromer which is further on has a pier where again the children can go crabbing.

The surrounding areas are ideal for anyone who likes walking, bird watching etc. as there are many RSPB sites along the way. Holkham and Sandringham are again beautiful places to visit and only a short drive away.

Lovely comfortable caravan in a beautiful location by a pond. Parking at the side of the caravan. There are lots of ducks who enjoy scraps of food you have leftover! 5 minute walk to the beach, funfair, amusements and eateries. Tesco supermarket and fuel station close by. Pleasant walk to the shops of which there are plenty. Norfolk Lavender is well worth a visit which is only a short drive. Enjoyed Sandringham House which you book online. Also visited Heacham, Wells next the sea and Cromer...all in all a great week in North Norfolk.

We visited Hunstanton Manor Park during the summer holidays (early August 2022). The caravan was spacious and exactly what we needed for a week away with two children (age 9 and 12 years). The holiday home was beautifully located next to a duck pond: perfect for our wildlife admirers! The balcony was a sun trap: ideal for a lazy day with a cold drink and a book. The facilities provided inside the caravan were enough to keep our children entertained, such as a scrabble board. We also had access to those hidden extras we never considered: hair dryer, iron, and so forth. The flowers inside the holiday home were a lovely extra touch. Park Dean resorts don't tend to provide these creatures comforts, but you can recognize the care put into this private accommodation as soon as you enter! The caravan itself is located close to Hunstanton promenade, with entertainment for the entire family. We enjoyed a few hours taking in the views. We never visited the club in the complex due to having a beautiful week to enjoy the outdoors. A bit of a drive away, we enjoyed Thrigby Wildlife gardens, Bewilderwood and Roar dinosaur park. We highly recommend Thrigby Wildlife gardens for a day out with all the family. We were lucky enough to have a heat wave during our stay. However, theres plenty of indoor facilities such as the Sea Life centre within a short walk. Thank you so much for a lovely stay, we wish we never had to leave!!

We absolutely loved our stay in 46 Kensington….the caravan is exactly as described and so much more, it really is a home from home, there was not a single thing that we felt was missing. To say that the caravan is part of a big caravan park, when you’re around that duck pond you feel like you’re miles away from anywhere, I will really miss that terrace. It’s a gorgeous sun trap, and so so peaceful. It is clear that a lot of love has gone into the set up of the caravan and the owners have really thought about what people may need/like when they’re on holiday. Before our holiday I got in touch with the owners to ask a couple of questions and their response was quick and really helpful. We love Hunstanton, it is our second time visiting, there’s so much to do with children and we are already looking to book for next year….and of course we will be back to 46 Kensington, I now cannot imagine staying anywhere else on Manor Park. Thank you so much!

The correspondence with Julie and David the owners was very fast. The caravan and setting far exceeded our expectations. The caravan is spotlessly clean, very modern and so spacious. There is a large decked are with plenty of seating that overlooks a beautiful duck pond. You will be visited by many friendly ducks. The caravan park has a club, indoor and outdoor pool but we didn't use them. Tesco is a very short walk with the beach bars shops and restaurants on the door step. We loved our stay and didn't want to leave. Would highly recommend.
