Hunstanton is a lovely picturesque town with plenty of things to do. The beach is approx. 5 minutes from Manor Park, with the Town approx 10 minutes walk. Facilities in the town include coffee shops, restaurants, fish & chip shops, ice cream parlours as well as shops. You may like to visit the sea life centre, indoor swimming pool, indoor bowls, tenpin bowling, gym and many other facilities. Children's amusements can be found along the beach promenade as well as an indoor amusement arcade further in the town.
Tesco supermarket is about 5 minutes walk from the caravan site and there is a very good drinking/eatery establishment across the road from it.
If it is a lovely walk you want then try walking along the cliff top to Old Hunstanton passing beautiful gardens, bowling greens, children's play area, pitch and put. If you visit Old Hunstanton be sure to walk down to the beach and stop off for a coffee in the cafe or something stronger in the pub/restaurant.
There is a bus service operating in the town which takes you to Kings Lynn or in the opposite direction to various towns and on to Cromer. This can also be caught outside the supermarket.
Should you wish to venture further afield there are lovely places to visit such as Wells-by-the-Sea which has unusual shops, a small seaside town train takes you out to the sea front or you can walk, plus the children can go crabbing. Sherringham which is approximately 45 mins drive has its usual array of shops, cafes etc and a steam railway. It is well known for its 40's weekend held normally in September every year. Cromer which is further on has a pier where again the children can go crabbing.
The surrounding areas are ideal for anyone who likes walking, bird watching etc. as there are many RSPB sites along the way. Holkham and Sandringham are again beautiful places to visit and only a short drive away.
