Terms and Conditions of your stay
1 Definitions
1.1 JSP or JSP Caravans are agreed terms to mean the owner of the caravans.
1.2 You, your, the customer, the hirer are agreed terms to mean the person making a booking.
1.3 The caravan, your caravan, are agreed terms to mean the accommodation booked for hire.
1.4 Booking period, the period, your stay, your holiday, are agreed terms to mean the dates between which a hire has been made.
2 The Enquiry
2.1 An enquiry may be made by the customer via any of the following means; by telephone, text, through UKCARAVANS4HIRE, through Facebook or messenger.
2.2 You are responsible for supplying accurate dates of your intended hire and the caravan for which enquiry is made. JSP does not accept responsibility for incorrect hire dates. JSP does not accept responsibility for the mistaken hire of a different caravan to intended.
2.3 You accept that JSP will carry out security checks on your details using public records. You further accept that failure of any such security checks JSP may retrospectively request a security deposit.
3 Payment
3.1 JSP will operate a number of payment methods, which may vary as availability and JSP policy dictates.
3.2 Payment may be made in full at the time of booking, or by instalments comprising of a deposit of not less than £80 followed by a final balance, or a deposit of not less than £80 followed regular amounts by schedule.
3.3 Deposits are non-refundable and are deducted from the total cost of your holiday.
3.4 Instalments are only available by card payment and must be paid on the dates specified within the payment schedule agreed at booking.
3.5 Your final balance must be paid by and no later than four weeks prior to your arrival date.
3.6 Where your booking is made less than four weeks before your arrival date, payment is required in full.
3.7 JSP Caravans reserves the right to request a security bond, of £100, as a condition of hire.
4 Bookings
4.1 Booking reservations are not valid until a deposit has been paid and party details provided. If you fail to supply valid party details your payments will be returned after seven days minus a £15 administration fee.
4.2 Party details include, but are not limited to, name and full postal address of the person making the booking, full names of all other adults, and ages of any children.
4.3 The customer is responsible for ensuring their party numbers do not exceed the maximum occupancy of the caravan booked. The customer agrees to indemnify JSP Caravans for any and all losses caused by exceeding maximum occupancy levels.
4.4 Check in time is no earlier than 4.00 PM, unless agreed otherwise. Check out is no later than 10.00 AM, unless agreed otherwise.
4.5 Unauthorised late check out, which is a late check out not previously agreed with JSP, will incur a charge of £25 per half hour, or incomplete half hour thereafter.
4.6 JSP Caravans cannot guarantee the availability of park facilities. Any unavailability, from time to time, is at the customer's own risk.
4.7 Your caravan has a small welcome pack for your enjoyment. (Items may vary)
5 Cancellations
5.1.1 Coronavirus: Should government instruction become that travel is to be avoided, or if Lyons decide to close Robin Hood, a full refund of all payments will be given.
5.1.2 Should a preceding guest be forced to extend their stay under coronavirus regulations, the customer agrees to indemnify JSP Caravans against any resultant cancellation. Full refund will be given in the specific circumstances of such a cancellation.
5.1.3 If you begin to suffer from coronavirus while staying in a JSP Caravans accommodation, and are unable to travel home, the customer agrees to indemnify JSP Caravans against all loses caused by a forced extension of stay.
5.1.4 If you decide to cancel due to your own concerns, normal cancellation rules will apply. (See below)
5.2.1 If you cancel your stay more than 30 days before arrival
you will receive a refund of payments up to but not including your non-refundable deposit.
5.2.2 If you cancel your stay within 30 to 25 days you will receive a 50% refund of your payments up to and not including your non-refundable deposit.
5.2.3 If you cancel your stay greater than 8 days but less than 25 days before your arrival you will receive a 25% refund of your payments up to and not including your non-refundable deposit.
5.2.4 If you cancel your stay 7 days or less before the date of your arrival, you will not receive a refund.
5.2.5 Bookings cancelled by JSP Caravans as a result of non-payment by your payment deadline, will result in the loss of all monies paid up to and including the date of cancellation.
5.3 As a responsible customer you will be free to enjoy the facilities of the park and to socialise with the many other guests. However, unreasonable or antisocial behaviour, resulting in nuisance or actual distress to other guests or holiday park employees, may result in your stay being terminated without notice and you being escorted off the holiday park, with the forfeiture of all booking fees. If you refuse to leave, you agree to pay an unauthorised stay surcharge of £200 per night, over and above the cost of hire.
5.4 Where your stay results in a call to, or visit from security, we reserve the right, and you agree, for JSP to enter the caravan in order to confirm the safety of the caravan and it’s fixtures.
5.5 Where there is sufficient proof of a risk to JSP Caravans property or business, we reserve the right to cancel your booking, with the forfeiture of all booking fees.
5.6 JSP Caravans may at their discretion agree to an alternate booking where a customer instigated cancellation will result in total loss of booking fees. Any such alternate booking will attract no further cancellation period and any further requested movement of dates may result in the cancellation of your booking with the loss of all booking fees.
5.7 Any use of or possession of illegal substances during your stay will result in your stay being terminated without notice and your being escorted off the holiday park, with the forfeiture of all booking fees.
5.8 If you refuse to leave the caravan after a forced cancellation, you agree to pay JSP Caravans an unauthorised stay surcharge of £200 per night, over and above the cost of hire.
6 Conduct On Site
6.1 You MUST NOT park vehicles on any caravan plots other than the plot belonging to the caravan you have hired.
6.2 You MUST NOT attempt to use a barbecue on a JSP plot.
6.3 You MUST NOT smoke inside the caravan.
6.4 You MUST NOT keep a pet inside the caravan.
6.5 You MUST NOT play music at a level and a time that a reasonable person would find an annoyance.
6.6 You MUST NOT feed the seagulls. Feeding seagulls is prohibited on site.
6.7 Any violent conduct will result in your immediate removal and the cancellation of your stay.
7 Damage to or theft of JSP Caravans property
7.1 We recognise that on occasion, minor accidental breakages will occur.
7.2 In the occasion of serious damage to the caravan or theft of it’s contents, the customer agrees to reimburse JSP Caravans, up to the cost of any new for old repair or replacement found to be necessary as a result of such damage or theft.
7.3 Where the customer causes damage or theft to the property of any other owner on the holiday park, the customer agrees to make compensation to such owner, and agrees and authorises JSP to supply contact details, including name and address to the owner of such damaged property.
7.4 You agree to leave the caravan in a state of cleanliness, similar to how you found it. Where your caravan is found to be left in an unacceptable state, you agree to pay JSP a retrospective extraordinary cleaning charge of £35.
8 caravan entertainments
8.1 You are free to log into any of the TV entertainment apps, and Xbox. It is your responsibility to ensure you log out of any apps you have logged into at the end of your stay.
8.2 Where you fail to log out of such apps resulting in subsequent guests making purchases against your account, you agree to indemnify JSP against any losses you may incur.
