Owner Description

Our privately owned holiday home is spacious, well maintained, double glazed and centrally heated throughout, it is situated on New Road, a quiet no through road close to the conservation pond and only a few minutes walk to the centre of the park.

The light and airy living area is well-proportioned with plenty of comfortable seating, a flat screen TV with freesat, DVD player, radio cassette player and electric fire. The fully fitted kitchen has a full sized gas cooker, large fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and is well equipped with crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, utensils, iron and ironing board. There is a free standing dining table and seating for six.The master bedroom has a king size bed , walk-in wardrobe, dressing table unit , TV and an en-suite with shower, toilet and hand basin. The second bedroom has twin beds, which can be put together to make a king size double bed if required, also a wardrobe, drawers, storage cupboards and TV with DVD. There is another shower, toilet and hand basin in the shower room opposite. A pull out sofa bed in the living area provides for two guests. For stays of four nights or more all bed linen is provided, beds will be made up ready for your arrival (with the exception of the sofa bed, linen, quilt and pillows are provided for this bed). For stays of 3 nights please ask.

We provide tea coffee, sugar, salt & pepper, tin foil, tea towels, dishcloth and scourer as well as washing up liquid, liquid soap, kitchen and toilet rolls, Please note: we do not provide towels . There is a large decked area outside the caravan with BBQ, patio table, chairs and a parasol for al fresco dining . We have a small entrance porch for coats and boots/shoes, an outdoor storage box containing loungers, windbreak for the beach, etc. A washing line, pegs and clothes airer are provided. Ample for parking space for two cars. There is a large grassy fire break at the front of the caravan.

Books, DVDs , board games and jig saws are provided for you to enjoy as well as an abundance of wild life including birds, rabbits, squirrels and deer. Bird food is provided to attract wildlife into the garden. . Wifi is available in the leisure area. We hope we have thought of everything need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
Gas and electricity is included in the hire charge.

One dog is welcome in the living area but must be kept on a lead at all times when on the Park and not left unattended. We make a charge of £10 per week for a dog. The following breeds of dog are not permitted on Kelling Heath Holiday Park: Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Braziliero or a cross breed of any of the breeds shown.
Saturday is the normal changeover day but we may be able to accommodate other days, please ask.

We do accept single sex family groups but park rules do not allow us to take hen or stag parties.

No Smoking or vaping inside the caravan.

LOCAL AREA;
There are many attractions in the local area including beaches at Weybourne, Sheringham, Holkham and Cromer. Blakeney Wildlife Sanctuary, NT Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Hall and Estate, Holt, Pensthorpe Wildlife Park, Holkham Hall and Langham Glass and the beautiful Norfolk Broads are a short drive away. Horse riding is available nearby. There are also pubs and restaurants offering superb local dishes.

  • Additional Info: A well-stocked mini-supermarket, outdoor pool area, Health & Fitness Club with gym, heated indoor pool, Jacuzzi, (two for the price of one Leisure Centre passes are available to our guests on presentation of the Key Release Form). The Forge Bar and Terrace restaurant, Pizza in the Square with take-away, information centre, and laundrette etc. The Folly in The Village Square is where visiting musicians, ranging in style from jazz to folk, play during the season. The Park arranges various activities for adults and children during the season.
    The park also has its own railway halt for the North Norfolk Railway, the steam train can regularly be heard throughout the day. Two children's play areas can be found within the park alongside three conservation ponds, cycle and walking trails. Fishing, Cycle hire and tennis courts are available (extra charges may apply).

We had a wonderful 9 nights at the caravan. It is a real home from home. It's in a good location, a little bit away from the resort centre but only a very short walk to it. It was wonderful to have tea, coffee, kitchen paper, tea towels, toilet rolls etc provided. I have only marked the accommodation down to a 9 because we had some problems with the hot water but Jenny the owner is fantastic and she arranged for the heating engineer to sort it out immediately. It would be a perfect spot in the summer as it faces onto a fire break so there is a large open grassy area that kids would love to play in. A new porch has been added to the side which is not in the photos and provides a great area to store shoes and coats.

We had a lovely stay a Kelling Heath and the caravan was excellent with all the extras that you don't usually get like tea bags, coffee, sugar, foil, toilet rolls, kitchen towel, washing up liquid and plenty of tea towels and cleaning products. Having stayed in numerous caravans these are all the things you realise you need after your first few hours. We could not fault the facilities available in the caravan or the cleanliness. We took our dog and they had even prvided details on good local walks for dog owners.

Myself and my husband had a fabulous stay at the beginning of July. Little extra touches that were left such as a cake and a name card made us feel most welcome.
