And now for the serious but important part.
Please ensure you read all of the below and reply to this email as confirmation . Apologies for the serious tone, however many of these t&cs are required by the holiday park, to ensure we have done all we can to ensure good renters have booked, as failure to do so could result in us losing our caravan pitch.
Terms and Conditions
Booking Terms
1 Deposits are non refundable if cancelled. The remainder of the payment will need to be paid within 4 weeks of arrival. Please ensure the balance is received within this time frame as if there is no contact from yourself then I will presume the booking is no longer required. Bookings taken with less than 4 weeks remaining before arrival can only be accepted if full payment is made within 24 hrs of booking.
2 I will need proof of address along with the deposit, before booking is accepted. E.g a picture of a drivers licence/utilty bill which can be and sent to me via email or whatsapp. Sally – 07539347899/rosie.max@hotmail.co.uk
3 The hirer will also need to pay £70 security bond which is fully refundable at the end of the hire period and returned within 2 days of departure date as long as the caravan is left with no damage and left clean and tidy as found. The caravan owners reserve the right to withhold some or the entire bond and bill the hirer for the additional cost of any breakages or damage over the bond amount. This includes damage to furniture, mattress spoilage and carpet stains and any other items in the caravan as well as items missing. Complaints of any antisocial behaviour resulting in being called by park security will also affect your bond. Please always be mindul of my neighbours as we all wish to keep the area as pleasant as possible.
We thoroughly check the caravan after each use and record any new damage on the damage sheet inside the boiler cupboard to ensure future renters like yourself are not blamed. Please report other damage not listed that you may be see and to the owner within 12 hours of your arrival.
Cancellations
In the event of a cancellation the hirer must confirm this via email or text (deposits are non-refundable unfortunately). I cannot give any refund to the hirer whose holiday has commenced and who vacates the caravan for any reason before the booked date of leaving. As with any holiday organisation, once the balance has been paid refunds will only be considered in certain circumstances at the owners discretion and subject to the time remaining to the holiday and a replacement booking being obtained. Unlike regular holiday companies I will always do my best to re-book the holiday which will result in me being able to give a full refund.
General booking conditions
1. Bookings will only be accepted from hirers who are over 25 years of age. Strictly no large same sex groups. Couples and families only. No pets and strictly no smoking.
2. Only the persons on the booking form may stay at the caravan. No over occupancy allowed. The hirer is responsible for the conduct of all persons listed on the booking form.
3. The caravan owners reserve the right to refuse/cancel any bookings or terminate your holiday early if they have knowledge that the hirer has made a booking that does not comply with point 1 on the general booking conditions, (E.g Booked as a family but found to be a group booking.) has caused disruption to other holiday makers or reports to the owner/park security of possible damage to the caravan. This will give the owner/holiday park owners the right to enter the caravan.
4. The hirer can access the caravan by 3pm on arrival and must leave the caravan by 10:30am on the morning of departure or be ready to leave as soon as the owner arrives which can be any time after 10:30 to clean. I try and be at the caravan for arrival however if this is not possible I will give you a 4 digit code for the key box the morning or evening before arrival.
5 This is strictly a no smoking caravan. Please only smoke well away from the doorway of the caravan. Smokers are welcome to smoke on the veranda.
6 During colder months, PLEASE turn off the heating each time you leave the caravan and please turn radiators low overnight. This will ensure I can keep the prices low as possible during the winter months. In such a small space, the caravan warms up to ‘cosy level’ in no time,
7 Please note: I am unable to provide bed linen. Please remember to bring this with you as an increasing amount of people have sleeping without bedding and instead using the mattress protectors and pillow protectors provided. If there are any signs that bed linen has not been used I will need to with hold part of your bond for laundering costs. This can be up to £15 for dry cleaning just one quilt.
To summerise.
• Please ensure only those named are those that are staying at the caravan, and that you are a family or a couple over the age of 25.
• Please send proof of address after reading these T&Cs. (Parkdean request)
• Always be considerate of your neighbours and keep noise levels down at night to avoid complaints. It’s a lovely area of the park and the owners are keen to keep it that way. If I have constant complaints about people I rent to this
could result in me losing my pitch.
• Please don’t waste heating during winter months.
• Please remember your bed linen.
• Please don’t smoke anywhere in the caravan or on the door as the odour lingers for a few days after and it could result in losing part of your bond. This is also off putting to the next renters who are non smokers. Please use the
veranda only.
• Last of all, we ask PLEASE look after the caravan as it’s our pride and joy and we love to spend time there ourselves.
