These Booking Terms and conditions only apply to our caravan 126 karo place at Devon Cliffs, Exmouth
All conditions of Breakage Deposit will be explained in the relevant section below.
There is a £50 non-refundable booking deposit, and a £100 refundable Security Deposit unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.
All outstanding payments for your holiday including the Security deposit are to be completed six weeks before the 1st day of your holiday,
We recommend because of what has happened this year with Covid that you book Travel Insurance before the start of your holiday.
Once the date and details of you holiday is agreed by both parties. I will email the account number for you to transfer the payment into
As all payments are to be paid by Bank Transfer.
The price of your holiday will include all beds made up for you .
Please bring your own Towels and Tea towels with you.
We also provide toilet rolls and hand wash in both bathrooms, as well as washing up liquid , and 4 dishwasher tablets ,plus various other cleaning items, as well as some Tea, coffee and sugar to help start your holiday off.
you will also find various items in the kitchen cupboards that may come in handy for you.
We now have free WIFI in the van, the code for the WiFI will be emailed to you with the key safe number.
We have also installed an air conditioning unit in the lounge for your use if required.
Please do not let your children play the remote control for the air conditioning unit, this will be located in the holder directly below the unit. Please make sure that you return the remote to the holder after use.
BEFORE USING THE AIR CONDITIONING CAN YOU PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT ARE KEPT IN THE BLUE FOLDER ON THE SHELF UNDER THE UNIT.
We have a Table and 6 chairs on the decking with a sun umbrella for your use, please don’t use the umbrella in high wind as this will likely break it ,this will result in some of the security deposit been kept back to replace a new umbrella.
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANY LEFT OVER FOOD OR ANY BAGS OF RUBBISH LAYING AROUND ON THE DECKING AS THIS WILL ENCOURAGE SEAGULLS AND THEY CAN GET VERY AGGRESSIVE OVER THE FOOD.
Please use all our extras with care as we have supplied them for all our guests to enjoy while staying with us.
Reminder you will be held responsible for any Breakage, or if anything goes missing from the caravan, if this does happen it will then be taken out of your security deposit.
The booking deposit is non-refundable , If any of the remaining balances for the holiday including the refundable security deposit is not paid in full by six weeks before the holiday , the holiday will be cancelled and the caravan will be Re Advertised.
If you cancel after you have paid the balance within the six weeks of your holiday you will lose all of the money you have paid .
The exception been
If you have to cancel anytime in the 6 weeks for a medical reason, In this situation you will need a letter from your doctor for a 70% refund .
If you have to cancel for a medical reason within 3 weeks before the holiday, you will receive 50% of your balance with a doctors letter .
Any cancellations within the 3 weeks will result in 10% of the holiday been refunded with a Doctor letter.
We are happy to accept a monthly payment plan if required, the amount of each payment plan must be agreed by me, all monthly payments are also to be completed 6 weeks before the holiday.
Receipts for all payments received will be sent out by post for you to keep for your records. I will also email you one if requested
Occupancy
You The hirer will be held responsible for the entire party, only the persons listed on the booking form for the dates and times specified may use the van. If we find anyone staying with you in the van who are not on the booking form will be removed by The security Team .
On the day of your arrival, Check in is 3pm , the caravan will have been checked and cleaned before your arrival and made sure it is in a presentable condition for you.
On your arrival please take a minute to check the round the van, if you see anything you think may jeopardise your Security deposit , please inform me and take a photo of it and email it to me . I will then get somebody round to have a look at it and get it sorted out or fixed; this will help protect your deposit.
The key for the van will be in the key safe, which is situated On the decking by the side door of the caravan.
The number of the key safe will be emailed to you a few days before your holiday.
On the morning of your departure can you please vacate the caravan by 10am leaving the caravan in the same condition as you found it with the key secure in the key safe
Please make sure you that you have left all the doors and windows closed and secure on departure, Failure to do this may risk the security of the caravan, if this happens all or part of the security deposit may be withheld.
Our caravan is family friendly so no drugs / Smoking or vaping will be allowed inside the Van, any evidence of any of this will result in you losing the security deposit
We hope you don’t have any mishaps, but if this does happen please report this to me as soon as possible, we may be able to get someone out to get it sorted quickly so no extra damages occurs
The caravan will be checked after your departure, any damages found to the van , or anything is missing this will be reported and photographed, and a report sent to me, this will result in all or part of the security deposit been kept back to pay for the repairs or to replace the missing items.
If the caravan is left clean and tidy in the same condition as you found it in your deposit will be returned in full within a week after your holiday.
Same sex groups of more than 2 adults will not be allowed unless cleared by Haven first.
Dogs
Devon Cliffs is a dog friendly site , we are happy to accept up to 2 well behaved dog , with responsible well behaved owners
Most breeds are allowed on the site apart from the following;
Pit Bull Terrier, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro, and Japanese Tosa.
We can provide a large dog crate for your dog to sleep in if required, but could you please bring your own dog bedding with you as that is not provided.
Please do not allow your dog on the beds at any time.
We have covers that have been put over the seats to protected them from any dog hair or dirty marks from your dogs, can you please use them as Any damage caused to the caravan or soft furnishings by your dog will result in you been held responsible for any damages, This will lead to the loss of your security deposit.
When arriving back after walking your dog , can you please make sure you clean your dog if needed, and no muddy paws marks are brought into the van. There is a mop in the cupboard, please use this if you need to clean the floor after your dog comes in.
please make sure that your dog is kept on a lead at all times when taking it out onto the site, and that you clean up after them, there are dog bins all round the site especially for this.
If you are bringing your dog with you can you please make sure it is well behaved, Toilet Trained and has been checked for Fleas
