Owner Description

Our stunning 2 bedroom lodge is located on The Terraces in Devon Cliffs Haven Park. The premium situated lodge boasts panoramic coastal and seaviews. The veranda is south facing so you can enjoy the view whilst al fresco dining or just simply enjoying a glass of wine at the end of the busy day. The lodge is only a 5 minute walk from the funworks complex and a 10 minute walk to the beach.

Our double glazed and centrally heated Lodge sleeps a maximum of 6 people with 2 bedrooms and a double sofa bed in the living room. The master bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobes, TV/DVD Player, dressing table and direct access to a Jack and Jill bathroom. The second bedroom consists of twin beds which can be pushed together to make a double, this bedroom also has a dressing table, a walk through wardrobe, TV/DVD Player and ensuite shower.

Our kitchen is fully equipped with an electric cooker with grill pan, gas hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, pots, pans, crockery, utensils, glasses and cutlery.

The living room has an electric glow effect fire and a 42" wall mounted TV with integrated DVD Player. Two sofas, one being a sofa bed, coffee table and lamps.

There is a Jack and Jill family bathroom comprising shower over bath, toilet and sink. As well as the family bathroom there is an en-suite shower room to bedroom 2.

Gas, electric and hot water are included within the hire price. Linen and Towels are not included. Please bring Tea Towels, washing up liquid, toilet rolls etc.

  • Additional Info: Devon Cliffs is Haven´s premier site, with a long list of excellent facilities that include, indoor and outdoor heated swimming and fun pools with indoor and outdoor slides. The beautiful Sandy Bay beach that has private access from the park, on the beach the are water sports, or sit back and have a coffee, beer or meal in the South Beach Café which overlooks the bay. Sandy Bay beach was awarded a Blue Flag in 2018. Aerial adventure and climbing wall, with breath-taking views over the park and surrounding area. Adventure Golf and three outdoor kids play areas as well as indoor soft play area. There are many food and drink venues at the park that include Mash and Barrel, Burger King, a Chip Shop, Starbucks and Papa Johns. There are two large day and night-time entertainment venues that have live bands, games and children's entertainers. In total there are six bars in the park including a sports bar to catch the all important matches. Onsite is a well stocked shop and gift shop.

    The surrounding area has much to offer for all ages too. Just outside the entrance to the park there is the World of Country Life Park and a short drive away is one of Devon's best attractions, Crealy Theme Park. The Cathedral City of Exeter is about a 20 minute drive away and the Cathedral is one of England´s most beautiful dating back nearly 1000 years.

    Other places of local interest are Bicton Botanical Gardens, Babbacombe Model Village and of course the amazing Dartmoor National Park, which covers 368 square miles of breathtaking landscape. There is loads to do on Dartmoor with walks and tors to explore as well as many places to eat and drink.

    Princetown is well worth a visit, as is Tavistock, a flourishing, beautifully friendly town that is worthy of any visitor. This ancient stannary town possesses World Heritage status, which sets this town apart. The vibrancy and uniqueness of Tavistock is undeniable, with a range of beautiful, local independent shops that are a far cry from today's typical High Street. Not to be overlooked is the famous pannier market; it is truly a shopper’s paradise.
