Luxury 3 bed caravan with large gated decking and seaviews. Lots of extras including, travel cot, high chair, toys, games and TVs in all bedrooms

Description

Luxury 3 bedroom prestige grade caravan for hire located on the popular Elms area of Devon Cliffs. The caravan boasts lots of extras for guests to enjoy. There is a large gated veranda with seaviews, TVs in all bedrooms, travel cot, bumbo seat, stroller pushchair with rain cover. Selection of DVDs, toys and games to keep little ones entertained. Coffee machine for the adults!

It is well loved and cared for by its private owners who wishes the guests have a great time and have an amazing holiday.

Lounge - There is ‘L’ shaped seating in the lounge, electric fire, DVD player. Stroller pushchair for your use if needed with rain cover. Selection of DVDs, toys and games.

Kitchen - Under counter fridge and under counter freezer, microwave, 4 ring hob, cooker and extractor fan. Coffee machine, iron and table top ironing board. All utensils are provided including all pots, pans, crockery and cutlery.

Dining Area - Freestanding table and chairs. There is a bumbo baby seat to help with feeding time for little ones.

Bedrooms - The main bedroom has a double bed.The other bedrooms have 2 x twin beds which can be pushed together to create a double bed. Also bed settee in the lounge. Sleeps up to 8. TVs in all bedrooms. There is a travel cot for use if needed.

The caravan comes with duvets and pillows for the beds but you must bring your own bottom sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases unless the linen option is purchased.

Bed linen is not provided but we are able to provide linen and beds made up for your arrival at a small additional cost if required.

Please also bring with you tea towels, washing up liquid, sponges and toilet paper etc.

Bathroom - Fully fitted large shower, toilet and wash basin. There is also a separate toilet and wash basin.

Situation - The caravan is situated on The Elms 2 mins to the beach and to the South Beach restaurant and 4 mins to complex.

The keys for the caravan are in a key safe located at the caravan and you will be issued with the key code prior to your holiday so no queuing at reception. Check in is 3pm and check out time is 10am on the day of departure.

Sorry no pets and no smoking in the caravan.

The caravan and prosition within the caravan site was excellent. The communication was not! Firstly, hiring this van is not just through UK caravans but it another company you are dealing with Kirsten at Grand Coastal Retreats. So not the owner. Secondly, they was very slow at responding to emails or not at all. Once tried to say they email back two weeks earlier but clearly didn't but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Then it happened we had no email from Haven to buy the passes from (only found this out after searching online) contacted Kirsten who said I was emailed from Haven three weeks ago, when I asked her to forward the email. I didn't get reply but at 10.52pm the night before going, suddenly get an email from Haven ( I suspect Grand Coastal Retreats did not register us correctly) Thirdly, on the caravan listing it said "coffee machine for adults" There is no coffee machine and no email reply to any of my emails to letting Kirsten know or to let her know the freezer was iced up and would not shut. Fourth and finally, when the very few emails we got, they was not at a good customer service standard. Never signed off nicely or a thank you or a sorry in sight! I will be not booking with Kirsten at Grand Coastal Retreats and the real owner (if there is one) should find another booking agent

Arrived at the caravan no problems getting the key. Caravan was nice all the essentials in for kids etc TVs in each room which helped. Nice caravan and we really enjoyed our stay. Looked after it as if it was our own. Clock was broken and in the cupboard. Blind in the main bathroom was also broken so we didn't pull that down . It was very pleasant. Would advise though maybe the owner could supply wifi password as the site donor offer this service and we could not get any signal or internet on our phones. This bothered my 8 year old autistic son more than us as it was nice that nobody could get in touch. Netflix and YouTube were a god send. Balcony was fab although it could of done with a clean as it was a bit dirty but still was satisfying. Very enjoyable holiday though . Many thanks

Caravan was clean, bright and airy and had everything that we needed. Ideally situated for beach and entertainment complex. We will be booking this caravan again in the future.

Lovely clean caravan brilliant view and had lots of little extras inside. Will be booking again next year to take grandchildren as it is so child friendly.

Owner's booking terms

£100 holding deposit is required to book the holiday with the remaining amount due to be paid within 8 weeks of the holiday start date. We also require at the final payment a £100 damage bond which is fully refundable upon inspection of the caravan after the holiday as long as there is no loss or damage and the caravan is left in a clean state and doesn’t smell of smoke.

Holidays booked less than 8 weeks in advance will require full payment at time of booking. Payment is by bank transfer.

In line with site policy we are unable to except groups of the same sex or parties at the age of 25.
