Owner Description

The lodge is situated at the Parkdean resort at St Minver, which is very close to the beaches of Rock, Polzeath and Daymer Bay. It is a short drive to Wadebridge where there are several supermarkets, a cinema, various restaurants and you can also hire bikes and cycle along the famous Camel Trail to either Padstow or Bodmin from here.

The lodge has a master bedroom with a king size bed and an en suite shower room. There are two further bedrooms each with twin beds in and a family bathroom with a bath and shower over it. There is a large fully equipped kitchen with larder cupboard, dishwasher, fridge, separate freezer, microwave , gas hob and oven. In a separate cupboard near the entrance there is a washer/dryer machine and space to hang coats and store shoes. There is also an iron and ironing board and vacuum cleaner etc in here. There is a dining area inside and a table and chairs outside on the large decking area which is a real sun trap on nice days. There is space directly outside the lodge to park two cars easily. The lodge backs onto a field so is not completely surrounded by other lodges and has a feeling of tranquility.

The site facilities include a heated indoor swimming pool, with a small toddler pool and a sauna. ( Passes will need to be purchased from Parkdean if you wish to use the pool.) There is outdoor play areas for children including a mini golf course. There is a show bar which provides various entertainment for adults and children including bingo. There is an amusement arcade, pool table and soft play inside the main Manor House and also a bar and restaurant which is a Steakhouse and Pizza restaurant. They provide a takeaway menu too. They also serve Costa coffee here. In the main clubhouse there is free WiFi ( although at the lodge itself this can be patchy). There is a court used for football and basketball outside next to the play area.

There is a convenience store on site which is usually well stocked.

Linen and towels are included although extra towels will be required for beach and swimming.

There are two sets of steps leading up to the lodge.

Check in/ out times will generally be 10.00 check out and check in from 15.00 unless agreed otherwise.

The lodge is non smoking and does not accept pets.

Please contact me if you’re interested in different amounts of nights to those listed, but generally the lodge would be let for 7 nights from Sat to Sat. Please note the park facilities are not open all year round. Generally most facilities such as the clubhouse and shop will be open from about the 22nd March until the 8th November. The pool may open at certain times outside of this such as school holidays etc.
