Sand Le Mere Holiday Village

What a holiday, the caravan was superb with everything we needed and more. Every need was catered for. We were a family travelling with an elderly grandmother, mother, 6yr old boy, 1 yr old tot and big old dog. This 2 bedroom caravan suited us perfectly. It was warm most days so we were able to sit with front door open and the boys and dog could just wander in and out on the veranda as they pleased which was very safe. The lounge area was very comfy and cosy, was very relaxing, the kitchen area was immaculate with every item of cooking equipment you may need. This caravan had 2 bathrooms which made it ideal for morning rush when getting out of bed. The master bedroom was large enough to fit travel cot in and still had plenty of space, we liked the main bathroom was connected to this room. Plenty of storage space too. The owners were on hand with everything you may have needed and advice about the area, and were very happy to help with any problems that may arise. Fantastic customer service. The holiday park. The walk along the cliffs was lovely especially first thing on the morning was very relaxing. Getting down to the beach was bit tricky, my elderly grandmother couldnt have come down nor did I take the 1 yr old (may have done if my hubby was with us and had extra pair of hands) myself, 6yr old and dog all managed the climb fine and it's worth it the beach when tide is out is just lovely very unspoilt and quite tranquil. The holiday park swimming pool was fantastic facility with large pool for swimming, splash pad, and children pool with slide all of which we used and loved, my eldest loved the evening activities there of aqua run, kayaking etc. There was a sauna, gym and steam room but i was unable to use them with the children. The changing facilities could of done with being bit cleaner I get there is alot of use but the toilets definitely had not been cleaned properly from leaving evening to next morning. We didnt go see much of evening entertainment as children loved the caravan to play in. We went to restaurant a couple of times which was ok food, we never had a problem finding a table (staff could have been more vigilant about cleaning tables better) the take away didnt open until 9pm and my son was poorly 1 night so i asked the restaurant if we can order food to take away which they dont allow or provide take away boxes if you dont finish a meal. The childrens play parks were good and kept clean. There was a mini golf too. The nature trail was lovely my eldest loved it with the bird viewing platform and big swamps, flower plaques. The entertainment team were really friendly and good with kids. We didnt use the soft play area and only used the arcades once, but the park had everything. The caravan was definately the highlight to our break. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you for such a wonderful holiday.
