COVID-19 Booking Guarantee
Should the holiday park be closed due to Covid 19 and we are unable to provide your holiday we guarantee to return any payment made to us at that point or if you prefer, to move your booking to an alternative date (subject to availability). If the new date is cheaper we will reduce / refund the difference and if it is more expensive this cost will be passed onto yourselves. Should you be unable to travel due to illness caused by Covid 19 and have to cancel your holiday we will do our best to re-book your holiday. If successful in re-booking we will offer you the chance to move your booking to an alternative period. We suggest that you take out travel insurance that will cover you for any cancellation. If you cancel within 6 weeks and we are unable to re-book the week of your holiday there would be no refund.
Property
Our Lodge is in Chestnut Forest with one of the prime positions within the White Acres Holiday Park. It comes with dedicated parking for 2 cars. The park is set in 184 acres of stunning Cornish countryside with numerous nature trails around the site.
You enter into an open plan living area, with a cupboard for shoes and coats on your right. To your left is a spacious open-plan living area, where you can open the sliding patio doors onto the decking and soak up the beauty and tranquillity of the location. If the weather isn’t that great you can enjoy the TV and a small selection of DVD’s or listen to the radio.
The kitchen houses a range of appliances (gas hob & oven, microwave, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, dishwasher and washing machine). Down the hall are three bedrooms, a king size and 2 twin bedrooms (3ft mattresses). All the bedrooms offer plenty of wardrobe & storage space, with the master bedroom having a walk-in wardrobe. The master bedroom benefits from a lovely en-suite shower room. There is a 2nd shower room situated off the hallway. All three bedrooms contain wall mounted TV’s.
The decking area wraps around the lodge, with a table and chairs allowing you to make the most of the view across the lake. The perfect place to enjoy breakfast and make plans for your day out exploring the area or just to sit and watch the fishermen.
On-site facilities include indoor heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and newly refurbished gym, ten pin bowling, arcade area, pool tables, indoor soft play area and a kid’s adventure playground. A leisure pass is required to access the pool area & gym. It is also required to access the restaurant, bar and evening entertainment after 5.30pm. These can be purchased from reception if required.
There is free Wi-Fi in the restaurant, bar, entertainment venue and First Bite Cafe. WiFi is now available for FREE within the lodge - with unlimited downloads.
Fishing @ White Acres
There are 13 course fishing lakes within the park. Described as one of the premier fishing locations in the UK. The team at the Tackle Shop (which is 10 mins walk from the Lodge) will be more than happy to help you out. Passes are required to fish on the lakes – day or weekly passes are available to purchase from the Tackle Shop. A rod licence is also required – free for under 16’s. These can be purchased online if you don’t already have one. There is a wooden fishing box & metal storage box available to store any beach stuff, fishing equipment, bait etc. Ask for the padlock combination. Please don’t store bait in the caravan.
Please note that fishermen can’t take part in the fishing festivals if they are staying in a privately rented property.
Park Rules
No all-male or female groups will be accepted on site at White Acres. At least 50% of the party must be older than 25.
Only guests listed on the booking form may stay in the caravan. You will need to supply the names and ages of everyone who will be staying in the caravan at the point of booking.
Smoking and vaping are not allowed within any of the park buildings or our Lodge.

St Columb Major 2.5 miles; Newquay 6.5 miles; Perranporth 13.8 miles. White Cross is a small hamlet in Cornwall, situated a few miles away from the thriving seaside town of Newquay. The closest pubs and restaurants are at Quintrell Downs & St Columb Major – where you will also find a Co-op store for your amenities, whilst the neighbouring town of Newquay offers a more diverse choice of shops, supermarkets, pubs and restaurants.
You are ideally place for exploring the expansive coastline boasting areas such as the St. Agnes Heritage Coast, Godrevy Coast and The Roseland Heritage Coast. The spectacular attractions of the Eden Project, Blue Reef Aquarium and Healey's Cornish Cyder Farm and beaches of Newquay, Porth and Watergate are all within easy reach.
