Owner Description

Located on the southern edge of historic Chichester in West Sussex, the site is surrounded by 10 beautiful lakes and is well maintained. On-site facilities include a heated outdoor pool (open May to September, weather permitting), paddling pool, an entertainment venue, laundrette, a sun terrace, family bar, fishing lake, mini mart shop, clubhouse restaurant, flexible dining, amusement arcade and free Wi-Fi in clubhouse. For the fishermen among you, you are able to purchase licences.

This is our second home so inside, you will find a fully equipped kitchen with all modern amenities, including a gas hob, gas cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer and a dining table with 4 chairs. The lounge area has free-standing furniture (which includes a double pull-out bed), a 42” Freeview TV, DVD player and a Bluetooth music player. There is a wall-mounted electric fire with varying light effects which also acts as a heater.

There are 2 bedrooms, one large double bedroom with ensuite bathroom (including a bath) and one twin bedroom. There is also a separate shower room with WC. The caravan is double-glazed and gas central heating, electricity and water are included in the price.

Outside the front-opening patio doors, there are 2 large decking areas, both with tables and chairs. 2 sun loungers are also provided as the caravan benefits from the sun from early morning until the it goes down. With a fantastic view overlooking one of the lakes, it is a real sun trap. You are also able to park your car on hard standing next to the caravan.

A king-size and 2 single duvets, mattress protectors and pillows are included, please just bring your own bed linen and towels. No smoking is allowed in the caravan but is acceptable on the decking. If your date isn't showing on the availability calendar, please email your request and we will check availability and cost and get back to you as soon as we can (please note that a minimum stay of 2 nights is required).

Site passes are not included but can be purchased from Reception. All address details and key information will be provided once full payment has been received. For our records, please provide details of how many adults and children will be staying.

A security deposit of £100 will be taken at time of booking and the balance will be due 6 weeks before arrival. Any late booking taken must be paid in full. The security deposit will be returned once the caravan has been checked and everything is in order after departure. A cleaning fee of £30 is chargeable.

Cancellation Policy:
a) Provided we receive notice of your cancellation 14 days prior to arrival date, we will refund all monies paid less £25 cancellation fee
b) If we receive notice of cancellation less than 14 days before arrival date, we will refund all monies paid less £100 cancellation fee

  • Additional Info: The site has a clubhouse and there are numerous activities to please all ages (some will require a Visitors Pass). Please be aware these may be limited outside of the holiday season which runs from March to October.

What an absolute delight! Excellent accommodation that not only is decorated to an extremely high standard but is also very user-friendly (master bedroom has an en-suite plus a family bathroom which was a saviour having 2 young children!). The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need (the fully sized fridge freezer was a lovely surprise!). The decking around the outside of the property was fantastic and most mornings we would have our breakfast outside whilst enjoying the view (the lake is practically across the road) and watching the site’s resident geese waddle around (much to the children’s delight). Although the site has a clubhouse which offers entertainment (as well as pool tables, darts, sports TV etc), we happily spent the nights at “home” playing games and relaxing. In short, I can’t recommend the caravan highly enough; we had the best time and we can’t wait to stay again next year.
