Owner Description

Welcome to our Willerby Seasons holiday home located on the Haven Lakeland leisure park in Flookburgh, within 20-30 minutes drive from most of the main Lake District tourist sites and that this beautiful part of the country has to offer. It is an immaculate caravan and brand new from Easter 2019.

We are now taking bookings for the 2020 season and can take them for the following periods: -
- 3 night break Friday-Monday
- 4 night break Monday-Friday
- 7 night breaks Friday-Friday or Monday-Monday

A BOOKING FEE OF £50 IS REQUIRED PLEASE TO SECURE YOUR DATES WHICH IS NON-REFUNDABLE IN THE EVENT CANCELLATION AND THE BALANCE OF THE HOLIDAY IS DUE 4 WEEKS BEFORE YOUR START DATE.
A BOND OF £75 IS ALSO REQUIRED TO BE PAID WITH THE BALANCE AND THIS COVERS ANY BREAKAGES. THIS WILL BE REFUNDED UP TO ONE WEEK AFTER YOUR END DATE AS LONG AS THERE IS NO DAMAGE OR EXCESSIVE CLEANING NEEDED TO THE PROPERTY. INSPECTIONS WILL BE CARRIED OUT.

This self-catering accommodation provides all your essentials for a very comfortable stay.

Central Heating and Double Glazing for all year-round comfort. 3 bedrooms allow the home to sleep 6 people. 2 separate washrooms with one including a shower.
An open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area provides a spacious feel to the home.
The kitchen itself has a full inventory and includes all items you would expect for your stay. This includes microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and freezer, together with all the cutlery, crockery and pans you will need.
Technology includes a smart TV and free wifi.
USB charging sockets in all bedrooms.
All bedding and towels included to save on packing space.
Outside is your own patio area with new wooden seating picnic bench.

There are many facilities on site which are detailed in the holiday park section.
If you prefer, we find our home has a nice calm feel about it and is ideal for just relaxing away from all the entertainment if that is your preferred option.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
As we said the site is 20-30-minute drive to Windermere. Newby Bridge which is close by is a boarding point for the Windermere ferries.
The beautiful Holker Hall is a 10-minute drive.
Other attractions nearby include the Lakeland Motor Museum, South lakes Zoo and the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway.
Many local pubs and restaurants serve fine food and drink.
Guides to many of these places can be found in the caravan.

Cark and Cartmel train station is a 5 minute drive from the site which is the main line to The Lakes and south to picturesque places like Arnside and Silverdale. This train line is a direct link to Manchester airport which may be useful to know.
As the station name suggest the lovely village of Cartmel is around 20 minutes drive. Plan your stay and you can enjoy Cartmel races at various times during the summer months.

SUMMARY OF PARK BEHAVIOUR STANDARDS
We want everyone to enjoy their stay and have a lovely break and to do this we ask that all our guests comply with the standards set out by Haven.
To act in a courteous and considerate manner and without putting anyone's personal health or safety at risk.
Supervise children properly so they are not seen as a nuisance or danger to themselves or others.
Not to commit any criminal offence or act of vandelism at the park or cause any unacceptable noise or disturbance.
Not to carry any firearm or weapon or use fireworks of any kind at the park.
Not to bring any unlawful drugs on to the park.
Not to permit anyone on to the park who has committed a sexual offence against a child or is subject to the requirements of the Sexual Offences Act 2003.


We are a mature couple and have used the home for weekend visits and are now in a position to share our property and allow others to enjoy it just as much as we do. We take pride in keeping our home in immaculate condition and hope that others take a similar pride in keeping that way for everyone who uses it to benefit in the same way.

  • Additional Info: There are many activities on site and a short 3-minute walk takes you to the main entertainment complex with bar, restaurant, indoor swimming pool, outdoor pool (weather permitting in season). amusement arcade and live lounge, providing live shows. There is a park area, tennis courts, crazy golf and lots of green spaces to enjoy with local walks.
    For the younger ones there are daily activities in holiday periods such as kids clubs.
    A shop is on site selling all groceries and selections of toys, games and treats. A laundrette is also available for any washing needs.

    Please note that passes need to be purchased from reception to use some of these facilities.
