“The caravan was very comfortable bu t the boiler stopped working on our second day a Sunday.”

. we went to the reception and although helpful we were told that is why they don’t like private rents because of contact issues. We eventually spoke to the owner who said no Plummer could come until the Monday so we had no hot water shower etc that day. On the Monday the Plummer fixed it but on Tuesday morning still the same problem. The staff were very helpful but the owner got fed up with us and implied it was our fault. This did somewhat spoil the first three days of our holiday . I believe there should be better contingency plans in place to deal with problems like this .

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. Unfortunately your constant tampering with the boiler caused it to lock out. There was no need to change the boiler settings. I did ask you not to touch the boiler . It worked perfectly before you arrived. I am sorry and have continually apologised to you but unfortunately unless it is an emergency the plumber doesn’t come out on a Sunday whether I ask him to or not. I am not sure why you didn’t phone me immediately as you were issued with my phone number. The site has lots of owners who let out their static caravans and they are totally used to dealing with any issues. Unfortunately it was a Sunday.. There was nothing they or I could do about this. Just so you know I am now left with a very expensive bill to pay. There are always two sides to every story and in the three years I have been hosting I have never experienced anything like your visit. I am sorry that you feel it spoilt your holiday but you were certainly warm because you left the heating on when you left. Thanks again for writing your review. Property Owner
