“This is our 2nd time staying at hoburne but our first time in woodland glade.”
The lodge was beautiful and spacious, the beds were very comfortable, and plenty of space between the two single beds unlike other static caravans. Only two sharp knives, normally I like a set for different uses, meat etc, but had everything else that was needed for a holiday stay, dishwasher tablets would have been handy to stay us off, but we washed up in the sink. The venue, although updated interior, was still not big enough to allow people to grab a table from 7pm onwards, as most families are there from the moment the entertainment started 6pm, until at least 9pm which for a family whose children are not of the age for for all the dancing and music, but wanted to enjoy bingo and the live at 9, it was a lot of standing and watching for a family to leave to grab a table, with other families wanting the same thing
Pool area was nice, changing rooms a little smelly and limited space between walk way and lockers. Bouncy castle signs were up but sadly they were not open to be used, just sad looking deflated castles on the grass area.
I think the outdoor pool area needs updating, the walk way from the top floor to the outdoor pool is not easy in bare feet.
The venue needs to be bigger to hold the amount of caravans that are on site with families.
