    “Nice caravan but we had to clean the pots and pans and cutlery and there was dry pasta left on the colander.”

    There wasn’t enough sheets for the pull out bed, blinds in the kitchen were dirty and the blinds in the en-suite bathroom don’t fully close. There was also food down the back of the seating at the table.

    Wow, very surprised by this review and also why you didn't inform or contact me at the time! This is a gorgeous caravan and my cleaners work very hard to leave all my vans in a very clean and professional state. I am extremely surprised you didn't let me know at the time, I would have got them back and of course provided you with any extra bedding you needed, it makes me wonder how you managed! It's also funny how I got this review just after I submitted a claim for the security deposit because of the way you left the main bedroom, which you didn't have the courtesy to tell me about and which then held up and inconvenienced my next guests. If there are ever any issues with a place you hire in future could I suggest you message the property so they can sort it and also if you have any accidents in that place, perhaps let them know so they can be prepared and deal with it straight away. I do hope you had a lovely time despite that. Property Owner

The property

This is a stunning 3 bed van situated in the Lark Rise area of the park.

It has a fabulous full decking out through the patio doors and is opposite a large area of open grass. The kitchen is fully equipped with a Nespresso coffee maker as well.

There is a dining table and seating along with a large comfy L-shaped sofa in the lounge, along with a good sized smart TV. There are 3 bedrooms, the master bedroom being spacious and complete with an en-suite toilet and sink, with 2 further twin bedrooms.

The pretty village of Baslow lies at the north end of stately Chatsworth House - home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The village has many unusual and picturesque features including a triple-arched river bridge guarded by a toll house whose doorway is only 3 1/2 feet high! Baslow offers a range of village amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants. Close by is Bakewell, the capital of the Peak District, and home of the famous Bakewell pudding (definitely not tart!), still made locally to an old and secret recipe. Bakewell is at the scenic heart of the Peak District, and with Alton Towers also within easy touring distance, there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy.
