“Lovely clean & quiet site.”

It was a pleasure renting this caravan from the beginning to the end. Everything went smoothly. The caravan was clean & well equipped. With a perfect parking space. A bonus was, we had great WiFi in the caravan.

“Lovely. Quite camp site ideal with dogs.”

Carvan starting to look it’s age. Lovely seating outside. Bed not very comfortable, no tea towels. Internet connection poor even with owners Wi-Fi, Tv kept losing singnal. Lovely area .

Had we been aware we would have certainly looked into with our WiFi provider. This has now been reset. We do not provide towels (including tea towels) or bed linen (as advised in 'holiday home facilities ' section), these are items for guests to bring themselves. Property Owner

“My partner & I and our 2 dogs had a lovely weeks stay in this caravan, free wifi great signal.”

We cooked most nights and the caravan had everything we needed to do this. The main bedroom has an on suite and then a separate bathroom as well which was great. Comfy seating outside on decking with a gate to keep the dogs secure. Nice small campsite positioned close to the clubhouse and the pool, laundrette and shop. Short walk to a few shops, a bakery, a few chip shops and a Chinese, bars and dawlish warren. We had a lovely meal in the mount pleasant one night. You can even walk to Dawlish along the coastal path (2 mile walk) Thank you Lynn & Dave

“We enjoyed a lovely weeks holiday, in our rented caravan which was well equipped and very clean.”

The camp site was quite. It did have a club house but was not really very busy when open. The club house at their other site Golden Sands was very busy. But I would point out it is a fair walk up hills and down. A good 30 minutes walk. Our site was kept very clean and tidy. A very nice place to visit.

“We had a wonderful stay here.”

The caravan is clean, spacious and is equipped with everything you need. The caravan site is in a great location, quiet and has all the facilities you need eg shop, pool and a place to eat. Lynn was a great host and kept us informed of everything we needed to know. I would 100% recommend Lynn and Dave's caravan to all my family and friends and we will definitely be booking again.

Linda was excellent in sorting everything out. Caravan. Is extremely clean. and ideal for a small family up to six. Everything you need is provided. Site is small and quiet exactly what we wanted for a break. On site facilities great . Can’t fault it it and definitely value for money Thanks Linda

We loved the little touches of fresh flowers on the table and the essentials in the cupboard including milk sugar and tea! WiFi in the van was a huge plus along with various games. All in all would definitely recommend!

The property

Our family holiday home offers 2 spacious bedrooms with generous storage space. The main bedroom is large enough to comfortably fit a travel cot and has an ensuite toilet and sink. Use of the larger sister site, Golden Sands just over the road, passes are available to purchase from reception. There are local shops, restaurants and takeaways within walking distance and a Sainsburys approximately a mile from the site. A 10-15 minute flat walk will take you to the 1.5mile sandy Blue Flag beach, nature reserve, go karts, crazy golf, fun fair for children and adults, a large grassed area and an assortment of shops and food/drink outlets. PLEASE NOTE: The caravan is not equipped to charge electric cars.

There are charging points available in various locations in Dawlish including Sainsburys, approximately a mile from the site.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £50.

DAWLISH WARREN

Dartmoor 13 miles; Exeter 11 miles; Teignmouth 5 miles; Dawlish 2 miles.

A couple of miles north east of the town of Dawlish is Dawlish Warren, a mile-long sand beach at the mouth of the River Exe on the stretch of south Devon coastline known as the English Riviera. Dawlish Warren has a selection of shops selling essentials, a golf course and a 55-acre nature reserve, an area of international importance for wildlife, and a roosting site for huge numbers of wading birds and wildfowl that winter on the estuary. The Nature Reserve is also home to more than 450 species of flowering plants including the rare Warren or Sand Crocus. Guided tours around the Reserve are available in the summer season. The beach at Dawlish Warren is a sandy Blue Flag beach backed by sand dunes and small lakes and stretches for miles to reach the Exe Estuary in one direction and Dawlish town in the other. A safe beach, lifeguarded in summer, provides a perfect place for seaside fun, and has many free, open-air events, children's entertainers and spectacular firework and air displays during the summer season. Dawlish Warren has a railway station on the Exeter to Newton Abbot line, one of the most scenic railway journeys in the country. Nearby there is much to occupy the visitor along the English Riviera coastline including Paignton Zoo, the Dartmouth Steam Railway, the picturesque fishing harbour of Brixham and the long pier and promenade at Teignmouth. A typically English seaside resort, great for family holidays at any time of year.
