“We have just returned from Looe Bay Holiday park in Cornwall.”
We have been twice before but this was the first time booking with private owners. We had already watched a video on Andys facebook site and liked the look of the caravan so took the plunge. Andy was brilliant from the start during the booking process and answered any questions that we needed answering.
When we arrived at Looe and to the caravan we immediately had smiles on our faces as we were welcomed by a gnome holding a board with welcome to the Wells family written on it. Such a nice touch to start your holiday. Andy and Carina also operate a key safe system so no need to pick keys up from reception making the arrival even smoother.
Once inside the caravan we had another surprise as there was a lovely little welcome pack for us. Milk in the fridge, tea, coffee and sugar sachets as well as biscuits, some cereal and orange juice for our 11 year old son, and a bottle of wine for us, my wife appreciated the wine, cheers Andy and our entertainment passes already there.
The caravan itself was spotless inside. It is spacious with a modern living area with TV and DVD player and double sliding doors out onto a decking area, with more seating and a table on the decking. The decking area extends round to the side of the caravan as well with more seating and a table with parasol for a more private sit in the sun. The kitchen is modern and all utensils that are needed were there as well as cutlery and crockery etc. The bathroom is modern too with a lovely hot shower. There is a twin bedroom and a double bedroom which has a walk in wardrobe. This is the first caravan we have stayed in to have a walk in wardrobe and it made such a difference and all beds were made on arrival. It has central heating throughout as well as a cosy flame effect fire in the living room. This may sound like a small thing but the height of the caravan was good as well. I am a 6ft man and did not have to duck to go through any doors etc. We also had use of an iron and ironing board and a Dyson hoover.
We also had full WIFI service on the park this year which we haven't had in previous years and this WIFI extends to the caravan as well once registered on the Park Dean WIFI website, no extra cost. Very handy for face timing relatives as phone service is not always great on the coast of Cornwall.
Andy also emailed us on the day before leaving with any last details that were needed. Such a brilliant holiday experience and would definitely book with Andy and Carina again. Thank you.
