“Margaret, the host is lovely.”

She met us and showed us how things like the boiler worked etc. Fantastic views over Torbay from the sofa. The home is well equipped and the bed is comfy. It is a very steep hilly site, if you have problems waking it may need you to use the car all the time. However we didn't use our car at all as they're is bus stops right outside the park. We managed to walk up the steep hills and we're both in our mud 60's

The property

This caravan offers superb views of Torbay.

Sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms, one queen size bed and 2 singles.

Duvets and pillows are provided but please bring your own bed linen and towels. The caravan is bright and airy with a spacious feel, hardwood floors, central heating and double glazing.

The kitchen is equipped with all the cookware you will need but if you prefer to eat out there is a new restaurant and bar with a varied menu at reasonable prices.

The new indoor pool has a booking system to avoid overcrowding, you will need to see reception for this. There is a bus stop just outside the park, 10 minutes to Torquay or Brixham, easy connections to Babbacombe and Dartmouth via ferry, and further afield.

Local beaches of Goodrington and Broadsands can be reached using the coastal path accessible from the park.

Splash down water park is just over 1/2 mile away and there are many other attractions close by, not least the steam train running every 30 minutes at the bottom of the park, you can board the train from Paignton station. 1 small well behaved dog is allowed but please bring your own blanket/dog bed.
